Toni and Klose to FC.
That's the story I heard (in the car while i was driving to South Carolina as i was talking about Football Manager), from a gentleman who shall remain nameless.
He said that Uli was feeling a little sad about how easy it was for Bayern to win every year, so he wanted to make the league more competitive.
They are going to get Vuci and give us another €10 Million so we can sign Bradley.

Pele`, Maradonna and Beckenbauer soon to play for the FC Köln?
The mistery of the Häsler millions has finally been revealed.
Instead of spending it on new players the former FC boss Klaus Hartmann decided on a new strategy and invested in a cloning programme.
He came up with this idea while reading a H.G. Wells novel.
"When I heard rumors about the KSC training an albino orang-utan to become a goalkeeper, I knew we had to do something drastic or else we would fall behind" so Hartmann
But for many years the cloning programme had little success.
At the end of the nineties the money ran out and the programme had to be closed down.
The Poldi transfer brought new money and the FC continued its work in the world of science.
In the year 2007 came finally the breakthrough, the FC found a method to clone football legends and to accelerate their aging in breeding pods.
This summer the first batch including football legends like Pele, Maradonna and Müller will hatch. With them the FC hopes to return to its old glorious ways and be able to compete in the championship.

Sanou signed a 2 year contract for Cologne. He is playing the forward position. Something new regarding Wome who most probably will sign a contract soon as well

Womé Set For Cologne Switch
Having been released by Werder Bremen, Cameroon full back Pierre Womé looks set to sign for newly promoted side Cologne this week.
After spending two years with the Weser Stadion club, neither the club nor the player were interested in extending his current contract which expires on June 30.
The 29 year old didn’t appear for the Green and Whites last season after suffering from injury, while also having problems with club doctor Dr. Götz Dimanski.
However, the Cameroon international has seemingly found a new employer for next season with newly promoted side Cologne his likely destination.
Womé has already met with Cologne manager Michael Meier and should be revealed as their signing in the next few days.
The Rhine club will certainly be getting experience with the signing of Womé. He has had previous spells with Roma, Bologna, Fulham, Espanyol, Brescia and Inter Milan.

Seems the transfer fee for Gudjohnsen is a problem for us as well.... :(
Gudjohnsen's price tag (http://fcbtransfers.blogspot.com/2008/05/gudjohnsens-price-tag.html)

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona has put a price tag on Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (29): the starting fee that Barcelona will use in negotiations with interested clubs is 8 million euro°.
At this moment, Arsenal is the only club who has shown serious interest in Gudjohnsen. But since the English Premier League club only offered to sign the player on a free transfer, Barcelona rejected to sit around the table.

Bocanegra was beat like a rented mule the few times I've seen him in the last season or two. I am sure Koeln could do better.

Good transfer (if he can recover from his injury), and again no transfer fee paid. There should be some money left for a quality striker...

Someone on another forum pointed out the Werder doctors are getting some grief from Wome.

"Kicker" had it too. I wanted BVB to look at signing him until I saw the transfer fee. I dig "Gooch", but he isn't worth 4M.
He should just stay at Standard next season and prove himself in the Champions' League.

No, I'm not so sure they can. Koln has some money to spend, but not that damned much.
And getting beaten in the EPL doesn't mean the same thing will happen in the Bundesliga, where the game is played at a slower pace.

FC is interested in moroccan national player Yassine Abdessadki. He plays for Straßburg and he's one of the best midfielders in the Ligue 1.

Köln mascot Hennes VII. has to retire. A vet diagnosed him with arthrosis.
The FC wishes Hennes VII. all the best for his evening of life and will of course continue to provide him with board and lodging.
The club will promptly decide a succession plan.
