In Stuttgart he's simply not been good enough to get any playing time.
It was a stupid loan move on our part and probably stupid of him too to accept.
He scored 14 goals in one season for Cottbus. Not good enough to get any playing time?

Granted, let's assume Lautern has more influence with the FA than Koblenz (which is probably true of 30 or so other clubs): Did Koblenz violate FA regulations? Yes, they did. Is there any evidence at all linking the FA's decision on their punishment with Kaiserslautern? Nope. Everything that is brought forward against them is 100 % hypothetical.
I never said that lautern was directly involved in the punishment of koblenz.
That is a bit far fetched. And no one really(or at least I didn`t) expected lautern to be still in a relegation place at this point of the season.
but the question is, if the places were reversed and Lautern were in koblenz position, would they have been punished the same way or would they have had gotten the punishment in the next season?
the DFL was so in favour of Kaiserslautern, I wonder why they didn't stick with their decision to take 8 points from Koblenz? I also wonder why the referee in Jena last weekend didn't concede Lautern at least one of their (alleged?) offside goals. They would be save by now.
I don`t think that the whole DFL in in favour of the FCK (:p that would be bayern)
they wouldn`t be in the bottom four if they were.
And I have to admit that the change of the decision made me regain some of my trust in the DFL.
Still should it really come down to a lawsuit i think Lautern is in favor to win it because they have the bigger lobby.
But it will propably not even come down to this, since Koblenz only needs a draw to be saved.
I have no hate for Lautern. i just don´t like it when small clubs are treated diffrently that big clubs. :D Mostly because the FC seems to have a pretty small lobby compared to other 1.BL clubs.
I know you don't want to decry Kaiserslautern, but there are a lot of people doing just that at the moment. The mob is gleefully waiting for them to become a founder member of the 3. Bundesliga, or to fall even lower because of their financial troubles. These haters make me sick.
I never knew that so many FC fans had so little love for the FCK.
Is there any specific reason for that?
Is Oliver Held main shareholder of the club?

so did Georgi Donkov
i am a bit afraid that we will get him and he turns out to be a one season wonder. We had quite a few of those the last couple of years.
Still Stuttgart has with Gomez, Cacau and Marica three other colofurl strikers.
So I can see why he didn`t do many games

Having witnessed the scenes in Kaiserslautern yesterday, I have to say we've got a hooligan problem. It was shameful to see some dozen morons ruining a great and peaceful party after the match.
My god they are crazy in Cologne.

This is no satire!

I heard stories earlier today.
My version:
"Daum has just been seen walking by the window, appears to holding a cup of coffee. Wait, he's just picked up a sandwich, or so it appears. More news as it develops."
"Daum has gone upstairs. We'll switch to our reporter in the helicopter to get a full report. Up to you Mike"
"Thanks Klaus, well Daum is in the toilet. Not sure what he's doing, but he's been in there for 45 seconds so far. [timer appears in the corner of the screen] Wait, he's out. I've got him in my sites. He's changing his shoes, appears to be going for a run.

My favorites were
a man walks up to the villa {pause]
and throws a pizza flyer into the mailbox
Daums wife brings coffe and hanuta to the waiting journalist
(about 30 min later)
Daums wife collects the empty cups
 and whats even worse, this ticker had over a million clicks

:) oh and there are some new rumors
it looks like the FC is interested in Haggui who was the best defender of Leverkusen last season.
only problem is he won`t come cheap. He is going to cost a 2.7 Mio € fee and a salary of 1,5 mio €
That is way above our normal income limits.

now that Daum is settled, who are we going to sign?
Who's going to replace Helmes?
We need a midfielder - Michael Bradley?
We need better defenders as well.

Maybe Prinz Poldi will come back. And reports say that FC is interested in Haggui from Leverkusen.

Jesus wept. If these people don't know what to do with their money, why not donate to a charitable organisation... or give it to me. :D
I would love to see Poldi back in Cologne, but it won't happen.

We need better defenders as well.
Mohamad and McKenna should be good enough for the Bundesliga, although it would be helpful to have a decent replacement if one of them gets injured.
We badly need a new left-back IMO.

Haha, the "Express" coming up with the usual rubbish: Köln interested in Gudjohnsen (Barcelona)! Maybe we should invent our own rumours, too?

Lionel Messi to play for Cologne FC? "He's an interesting player," an anonymous member of the management says. "Barca is trying to build a new team for the new season, and we're currently negotiating with some of their players. Messi is one of them." But can a club just promoted to the Bundesliga afford to pay stars like Messi or Ronaldinho? "That's no problem," our informer reveals. "Barcelona is interested in signing Nemanja Vucicevic, so we might be able to just swap the players. It's a win-win situation."
