As luck would have it, we ended up sitting right next (and I mean right next) to the Ultras last night (May 10/Crew game) in the eighth row. My wife has multiple disabilities and it was a struggle to get to our seats. Max, an Ultra, immediately jumped in to assist, and introduced himself. the gesture made us feel "at home" immediately. You guys were great last night, never more so then when Columbus scored their second goal. You didn't flag, but got louder. And you poured a lot of love down on Joe Cannon when he really needed some.
It was a hoot sitting next to the Ultras for our first Quakes game. Thanks, guys!

Thanks for the kind words. We did well last night but we can get better. That was our boy Max's last game, he is in the military and right after the game left for Texas to finish his training and then deploy to the middle east. Max the love of the Ultras travels with you always. Be safe my man.

Our tickets are over in section D, so I can't always hear your cheers......but when I heard "we all laugh at the yellow soccer team" I thought it was hilarious..........and then after the game hearing "we don't give a f*#k about Houston" was great as well....
Hats off to you and the casbah......you help make the game experience fun

Lou, it was great to meet you yesterday and I was happy to help out. I'm even more happy to know that you enjoyed your time around the Ultras. Hopefully that will continue for a long time to come.
I really wish I could be there to help out every game, but now you know where the rest of my guys are and I guarantee they'll be there for assistance whenever you need. Glad you feel welcome, because you're definitely "home" with them.
Ultras guys: many thanks for the kind (and outrageouly false) words. You know where to find my maudlin thoughts on leaving SJ.
