Ok well i needed some opinions sometime soon i will be flying to Argentina to fulfill my dream and attend a River match Ive been a die hard fan since birth. What advice would you give me?. anyone ever been to a match their? my old coach Jorge Coch used to play for River Plate and always told me to go but to be careful i was 16 then but times have changed. I know Argentina's fans are arguably one of the worlds most aggrassive, incredibly passionate and sometimes with opposing fans its gets dangerous. Im not scared or anything Im gonna go. Just wanted some opinions from any Gauchos on here or anyone with experience in Argentina atmosphere.
btw im half argentinian i speak spanish.

I went to the superclassico last year, am from Australia but my wife's parents are Argentinean and she speaks fluent spanish.
Not much advice really, just get tickets in the upper section of the stadium where it's more expensive but less rowdy. Not sure where you are staying but most hotels can hook you up with tour companies or just tickets to the game.
www.tangol.com.ar I think run game tours.

Jorge Coch was your coach? He was a great player, back when I was a kid. He was living in Santa Barbara for a while, I met him there a couple of times. Is that where he coached you?
BTW, Coch played for Boca Juniors, not River Plate.
