Some scouser doing impersonations of Rafa Benitez, Gerrard, Carragher, Owen, and Peter Crouch (in what must be the most basic of corner shops anywhere).

I saw this last week. Pretty good. The Scouser accent is very hard for me to understand almost as bad as the Jocks and Jamaicans.

Right lads I've got a language question. Does "muff" mean the same on your side of the atlantic as this side? I only ask because I own this guitar pedal:

Caused much hilarity when I got it for Christmas a few years back and people asked what I got.

I'd imagine that the makers of it get the joke too considering the use of "Pi(e)" on the pedal.

Well, I officially handed my mod keys to Geordie Russell. Sad day. Or happy? The beginning of a new era??

I imagine a wave of indifference is sweeping over NUFC BigSoccer.

All I've done so far is sticky match threads, I doubt this qualifies it as a brave new era. Still... its derby week so we may see some Mackem trolls. :D I'm warming up the smite stick just in case.

But your mere Geordieness is something this board's sorely lacked in modship since Toon³ stepped down. The fact that there's a Geordie mod strikes fear into the hearts of southerners.

I do hope the mackems come though.

I think we can set our sights a bit higher than that Dirt. I could always start threads like "Is Joe Kinnear a terrorist?" if thats the kind of thing you'd like to see though.

You are a good man, and your modding will be missed. As long as you continually show your face (or screen name if you want to really nitpick) around here then there is no issue from my end.

The Scouser impersonations are pretty damn good by the way.

Some great goals in this one.

Go see "W" and let me know what you think. The professor that is the adviser to my club, and also to my independent study, is working with Oliver Stone now on a 10 part documentary of US foreign policy history. He is friends with Oliver, and is looking for input from all over to give back to him.

(I haven't seen it yet. Shh.) :D

I've got a job interview tomorrow, the weird thing is its at St James' Park (the job's not with NUFC by the way). I'm picturing something happening to make things kick off again... then I'll be strolling out of SJP in a suit to be attacked by the "boycoutt" mob.

Either that or I'll get there and find the Wise and Ashley at the table offering me the manager's job...

Good luck.

Cheers Dirt. Keep a look out for stories surfacing tomorrow afternoon about a buy-out headed by a 25 year old who looks uncomfortable wearing a suit.

What should I do if I see Llambias strolling around? Chinning someone might not look good.

Went past the club store at the stadium today and noticed they had a 30%-off sale going. Have to say it looked pretty quiet. A couple with a kid in a stroller did walk in though... I almost shouted "scab!".

I was in the Milburn executive suites for the interview, looked pretty nice from what I could see, never been in the corporate boxes before. Groundskeeping staff were at work after last night too. That massive SportsDirect.com lettering needs to come down sharpish.
