Why Texas? I lived there for 3+ years...it's not really that great. But then again, I am from the Bay Area, so Mountains, Ocean, tall trees, no "anger of God" weather, no 3 months of 100 degree days, was what I was used to.

I am just curious what about Texas is appealing to you?

I lived in San Antonio for maybe six months, then Ft. Hood (Killeen) for a few years. This was from about 1988-1991, and I haven't been back since...so I'd like to see what's changed (esp. in Killeen, since I have hardly any memories of SA).

Oh yeah, you didn't know that? I lived in Heidelberg, Frankfurt, and finally Wiesbaden.

I visited Bamberg last spring...it is gorgeous!

Worked for me! Guaranteed last place.

Also, I tried out twitter. Kinda cool. Very simple, but that's what I like about it.

Don't know what I am doing wrong but if I get in, I will fight you for last place.

No, but thanks for mentioning it. I may have to try one of those at some point. Although, I don't eat much fast food anymore.

A youth soccer coach in the US was forced to resign after sending out a humorous email to parents. I think they need to put down their mocha-latte-half-caf-chinos and find a sense of humor. I guess the truth hurts just a bit too much.

The following article has the entire text of the email and details about his resignation: http://www.patriotledger.com/sports/x575725578/-Green-Death-coach-resigns

Here's an excerpt, one of the funnier parts:
"I expect that the ladies be put on a diet of fish, undercooked red meat and lots of veggies. No junk food. Protein shakes are encouraged, and while blood doping and HGH use is frowned upon, there is no testing policy. And at the risk of stating the obvious, blue slushies are for winners."

And for the record he did warn people at the end of the first paragraph:
"According to my wife, my emails get too wordy, so for those of you read too slowly, are easily offended, or are too busy, you can stop here. For the others……"

What a sad, PC world we live in. I'd love to have this guy coach my daughter.

Just figured out what Twitter is good for. BayernWake and I just won copies of FIFA 09.

Heh, I thought about doing that but didn't want to go through the trouble of making a twitter account and then posting in it to meet all those requirements.

I'm just too lazy.

Besides, I don't even text message, why would I tweet?
