Caio Júnior, ex-Palmeiras and current Goiás coach, is being speculated as the next Flamengo coach. Joel Santana will coach Fla on Wednesday vs. América-MEX in the Libertadores before leaving for South Africa.

Fla-America; well, that was a disaster. How in the hell did that happen?

According to Globo: "A diretoria do Flamengo (http://globoesporte.com/flamengo) confirmou a negociação do meia Renato Augusto com o Bayer Leverkusen, da Alemanha.
Good Luck to him! The club could be a good step towards a major european team - Lucio, Juan, Jorginho and Tita played for Leverkusen.

Thanks for the news- looks like I'm rooting for Leverkusen next year! It was just a matter of time...I thought he would be going to Palermo.

I just hope that this situation doesnt end up like the Ibson one where he isnt able to get playing time and then he tries to come back to Flamengo. With Ibson we tried to buy him back for more than we sold him for in 2005 to Porto. That would suck if the same thing happened again with R. Augusto.

Yeah, you never know. Renato Augusto was a hot property amongst the second-tier European teams. The loss to America in the Liberatores is even worse now as I hoped Flamengo could win it before he left. Luckily for Flamengo, Obina is better than Eto'o!

What is going on with our team??? We havent won in a while and at the same time we are selling a whole bunch of players. Did the "Diretoria do flamengo entregar o campeonato?"

I'm still not worried. We still have one of the best teams in Brazil, and hopefully Mr Milk can bring in some reforcos de peso. Your favorite player, Vagner Love, is being speculated.:p

V. Love is a good club player though :) At least he was with Palmeiras.

Been a long time since someone posted on here :D
Anyone see the game yesterday? Ronaldo Angelim with the winner in what was a boring game and I continue to be disappointed with Kleberson play.

Yeah, I saw it. Kleberson is completely useless. He does not do ONE function.
I didn't think the game was boring. The first half left something to be desired, but Flamengo played better in the 2nd half with the changes. The referees blew a boatload of calls. Hopefully we can have a better outing vs. Volta Redonda on Sunday.

Looks like Cuca has seen the same thing and is going to drop Kleberson tomorrow and put in Marcelinho in his place :)

Well 1-0 win which is good but another not really good performance overall. Though I will admit I am really liking this William:cool:
