Troussier considers Morocco job
First Published: Aug 12, 2002
Former Japan coach Philippe Troussier is in Morocco for talks on becoming the North African side's next coach.
Troussier led co-hosts Japan to the World Cup quarter finals in June before failing in an attempt to become the next coach of the French national team.
Morocco's federation renewed Portuguese coach Humberto Cuelho's contract last year but his current deal ends in October with Troussier - a former South African and Nigeria coach - already owning a holiday home in the African country. He has previously coached at club level in the country with Fath of Rabat and Sale.
