with only a few matches left in the season is this the first time that every team in the top 6 still has something to play for?

after Aberdeen's result today they sit only 3 points back from 3rd placed Motherwell. of course Mothers, with games in hand, have the upper hand over the three teams below them that are all chasing the UEFA cup place but with everyone playing off against each other who can be sure of who will finish in third.

for once i think the split has actually worked well for the top half of the SPL at least.

Yeah it looks to be. I see Motherwell grabing that UEFA spot.
