Anyone got insight on the printing on the CL final shirts for chelsea and manu? They look different to the ones used previously, esp chelsea.

Not the shirts, the printing. The Man U printing is the European printing they have used all year. The Chelsea printing was the UEFA branded printing that both Rangers and Zenit used in the UEFA Cup final last week. The latter two obviously had the UEFA Cup logo in the bottom of their shirts, while Chelsea's had Champions League logo's.

If you look closely you can see the starball and "UEFA Champions League" branding at the bottom of the numbers.

The jersey/shirt makers might not be amused by all competitions having their own official fonts... and we are getting there if UEFA goes that route like the Premier or MLS... personally I'd rather have teams choose their own.

I thought the lettering looked a bit crap.

I prefer the Gold letter that United had on their shirts last season. I think that looked much better than the silver which was used this season.

Although im not surprised if UEFA do actually do official lettering for next season.

nike/adidas thing perhaps? or is uefa planning on imposing a certain font set for all clubs competing in cl or uefa cup?
