Thats nice but looks like they've taken inspiration from Chelsea on that outer circle. I understand that even Chelsea is inspired by other clubs and their own history but this is a little too close.

i don't know, i like the simplicity of it. A lot of clubs use either a circle or a shield, those are the expected shapes

It's those Balls and the way the circle and font of the letters are that is a little too Chelsea inspired for me.
I like it though it is a step up. I noticed more and more once team's get into the Prem they change their old fashioned Badges which are usually complex coat of Arms to Simple Classy crests that are easily Marketable. England is very progressive in this right I only wish Portuguese clubs would do the same. Only Sporting has adapted throughout their history and only Gil Vicente in a lower league has updated their badge.

Campomaiorense (before folding) did a total redesign of their emblem, as did Alverca.

Well with Wigan it's not a redesign; it's actually the beloved Tree and Crown comming back. Originally the Tree and Crown was the badge of Wigan Athletic AFC until the 1988 season when they Wigan owner's decided that the club should represent the borough and went with the coat and arms of the town.
For the most part I like the mix better; but if all teams go away from the intricate designs it get's too stagnant for me.

Even though it is blurry I like the old shield better than the new logo. The new logo takes away any sense of history and tradition and looks very commercialized.

They also went from a Lion to a Greyhound; like that doesn't say your club is in trouble or anything?

Real Madrid are set to wear the new kits in sunday's match, which may or may not be played due to a possible boycott of Levante's players over unpaid wages

well the old logo was a direct rip off of Sportings old logo. Kinda like how Santa Clara has the exact same logo and colors as Benfica. This new Logo is great as it decided it's own identity which a lot of clubs in Portugal struggle with so resort to using their towns coat of arms with a ball.
That new logo would of looked far less commercial if the dog just fit in the inner circle though.

hah yea those 'boro "models" make me think im almost ugly enough to be in fashion!!!
Oh and I wonder if Kilmarnock's "Smallworld" is the same company that my mates dad started.....just lent his boy some cash and was a silent partner and absolutely caked out when they blew up, one of them stories that makes me maaaaad my money is dwindling in worthless ISA's....
