Welcome to sunny Blackburn :) for our last home game of the season.

Benni and Samba look doubtful for today. We have three ex Rovers playing for Derby today, Jay McEveley, Andy Todd, and Super Rob Savage. It will be great to welcome them back, especially Robbie! He has been very positive about Rovers in the papers this week.
I hope we put them to the sword today, If we win, Derby will officially be the worst ever Premier League team.
We haven't scored in the last three games at home against them, about time we fixed that problem.

Currently 2-1 to the good guys, Miller first for Derby then Santa on the stroke of half time and Roberts minutes into the second half. If things stay as they are here and elsewhere (Boro 2-0 Pompey, Villa 0-2 Wigan), we're up to 7th and a point behind Villa! Should make for an interesting last day of the season. Come on you Rovers!

Unfortunately I never found a working feed, but the matchcast made it sound like it could have been about 6 or 7 to Rovers were it not for some spectacular Roy Carroll saves and a terrible offside call on Derbs. Still I'll take the 3-1 and hold my nose while rooting for West Ham next week...

Yes! It could have been six or seven if Roberts had not missed those easy chances. He was in the clear three times with only Carroll to beat.

We made Derby look pretty good with our dismal first half display! They are officially the worst ever Premier League team, yet, they were far better than us in the first half! That lucky break just before half time was vital. They showed Mark Hughes on the big screen when we scored, he was far from impressed.
Second half was a different story, it was very exciting with lots of good play by us.

It was good to say bye to Robbie, and to say bye to Tugay, by his body language, he looks like he won't be with us next season. I felt very sad to see him waving goodbye to us. I hope i'm wrong and he stays another year, but I can't see it.

Well! What a fantastic end to the season coming up, a win at Birmingham and a Villa defeat at West Ham and we are in Europe again. I can't see it happening, but you never know, who would have given Fulham a chance of escaping the drop a couple of weeks ago?

Memo to Mark Hughes, please get the team playing for 90 minutes instead of only 45 next season.
Oh! and please find a good, attacking, central midfielder.

A draw at Upton will work just fine for us too. The main thing is to make sure we punt the bluenoses out of the Premiership with a win. :D
Even if we don't quite make Intertoto, some positive results to end the season may help us to keep hold of the likes of Roque and Betns.

If this is true, any chance Tugs would be willing to hang up his boots and stay on as a coach? His experience and the length of time he's been at Rovers can only be a benefit to those coming through the youth ranks.

it should have been six or seven in the second half and it showed why derby are bottom of the league. first half i could not believe the derby goal. warnock and reid just looked at each other, stoped and waited for off side. hughes was not impressed but that was down to our performance more than anything. second half roberts should have had a hat trick but their goal keeper was having a very good game. anyway santa cruz the player off the year killed it off. still got a chance of europe and getting my tin hat ready for birmingham next sunday. getting tickets for that one on tuesday.

Thx Rovers for a great season.

One more match and then hopefully you come over to the US in pre-season and I can see my beloved team.

One more win and a Villian lost and we are in Sixth place and only a point under 5th place Everton to finish the season.

Citeh, Villa and Pompey all lost!!!

We've made three points on all these guys. We can't catch Neverton, but if results go our way, Intertoto will taste just right.

Damn, I was going to give Brum a miss at £35 a ticket ... Now the season's back on I'll have to try to get one!

Enjoyed the game in the end, always like end of season games. I think Tugay might be off too, got an excellent send off though. The first half was horrible, living in Derby now I was dreading going back to work if we'd have lost, really really dreading it. More than made up for it in the second half, pummeled them.

Good to see the soldiers getting the standing ovation too.

Didn't get a ticket. Struggled on the phone so my dad tried to get there to pick one up but they'd sold out. Bugger. I'll do some decorating instead, that'll be fun.

Have fun.

As it happens, I need to do some decorating of my own, but I'll definitely not be missing this one. I honestly can't wait for us to send Birmingham down.

Yeah, I'll be decorating my living room with beer bottles now it's on sky. My girlfriend loves that look;)

Have a good game dring. £35 was well over the top for that place but it's worth it now.
