v1.06 have a very different fit (not bad, just different, after they break in, imagine playing in socks... that's exactly what it feels like). They're boots i'd try on in the store, especially if you're going with the schoeller material opposed to k-leather. I have the fullgrain leather v3's and those stretched quite a bit.

vkonstrukts are amazing boots, i'd love to get a pair... i've tried a pair on and they felt amazing. i've heard the exec's don't hold up very well, but other than that, puma's on its A game and has been for a little while now.

anyone know how does the sizing of the v1.08's compare to Nike Laser I's or Adidas Absolute k-leathers? I wear 9us in the lasers but 8.5us in the abs. thanks

The leather is REALLY soft on the k-leather V1.06s and it does stretch and mould to your feet so you should be good with an 8. But you might want to go half a size up just to be on the safe side!

Listen to apple. Ive tried switching to Vapor 3 and to F50.8 from my V1.06K and I always seem to go back to them. I seriously think im gonna use them till they fall apart there that good.

Same here! They are such great boots and so so comfy! I put my MV3s on last week and was just like ... naaah! they felt awful next to my V1s.

If you treat your boots with some liquid shoe polish, they will shine as good as new!

^ My v-kats looked like that but with more mud caked on cause i broke my ankle and just tossed my cleats in a backpack. Took them out today to get them ready to play in 3 weeks and all I did was give them a good toothbrush and warm water then a rag afterwards and they look almost new again.

I also cut off the toungue and the velcro that holds it down- looks alot better! Then I used a sharpie and blacked out the puma on the heel, and used a green one to outline the big white puma on the inside. The thread that the puma emblems are made out of just soak up the sharpie if you touch the material.

ok ok i caved and bought the sz 8s in silver/blue, comes this week from eurosport - only $72!. cant wait but i hope they fit. unfortunately my arm may not be totally healed in time for the beginning of summer league but i am recovering real fast. wrote this with two hands (kinda)! still psyched for them.

Another one joins the club. Yeah I need to pick up another pair of V1.06K seeing as this pair is almost falling apart. The leather is starting to wear near the bottom since I didn't take care of the leather. And the sole plate is separating from the upper.

they'll be snug, but that leather will stretch.

You dont want them to be snug fitting. Allow some room for your foot to move in the shoe. Its not like leather the material has no give at all and this has been the cause of boots ripping.

Snug is a no no for V1.06s. I'd go half a size to a size bigger.

I played in my 06's yesterday in about close to 5 months of not using them, and oh man thats a beautiful shoe to wear.

Too bad I have some slight sole seperation and don't wear them that often. Hopefully I can get em repaired but for those that don't like stepped on, this might not be your shoe because you can REALLLY feel it.

Guys, I've had to start a new thread because somebody who doesn't post here much decided to come over and mess around with the whole forum this morning. Instead of just starting a new thread (lazy) I have split the posts over 500 in the last thread into this one. Keep the discussion going, hopefully without too much interruption.
