question-
which of the two kangaroo leather puma cleats are better/softer/ etc etc
the v-kats or the ones that are $120. not sure of either of the names.

hello
i just bought my 2nd pair of the 1.06s. (grass/silver look,)
49€ (instead of 169€)in town. what can i say? i love my pumas.
the only shoes cleats that fit my feets perfectly.they feel like socks, amazing!
but they are hard to keep clean:-( and they dont live long,i give them a maximum of 5-6 month. the next shoes will be the k-leather pumas. soft leather and the 1.08 design, thats sounds like a feet-dream.
ps:
it hurts a lot, when another player steps on your feet :D because there is no leather or thick material to protect.but they just were made for wide feets like i have!

I've had my red V1.06s for 2 years next month. I know i have a few pairs, but if you do look after them then they should last longer than that.
I find using a soft nail brush and scrubbing at the upper gets them nice and clean.

well,i made once a mistake and put my reds into the washmashine @ 30° soft wash.
it worked well with my leather cleats, but not with the synthetics. the reds looked more pink after the wash.
i´ll put some clear shoecreme on my new cleats to protect against deep dirt.

Well, dont think id ever want to put them in the washing machine as it would remove the waterproof coating and thats when it takes the colour.
The colourway that ive notice really fades, is the olympic blue ones. I wore those in wet conditions and it totally stripped the colour!
But they do fade after time anyhow. The toes of my grass trix V1s are looking a little bit worse for wear now as they have faded so much.

ejasonk, you put clear shoe creme on your boots to "protect" them, yet you put them in the washing machine to clean???
Mate, you are the definition of a contradiction (rhyme not intentional) :)!

Plus .. does shoe cream even work on synthetic boots?? I always thought it was designed for leather boots? I could be wrong though!

Doubt it, but I think he might mean he puts shoe creme on new leather boots. I think.
P.S.

*high five*
Nice milestone in the posting dept! :)
I never really treat any of my leather boots. I do use that shoe whitener on my white leather boots though and they look as good as new!

the v1.08s look like running shoes to me.
I really like my 1.06 trainers... wish i'd picked up a pair sooner, i'll use them for all my games on turf, but for the hardwood court matches i'm sticking with the v3's.
does anyone know if the puma king exec HG's are offered in white anywhere???
never seen white..but there is silver with navy accent.

I've only had my v-kon trainers for a few weeks now but im not happy with the durability of them. the leather near the bottom of the toe is already starting to wear away from playing on astroturf and concrete. im just soley wearing them as casuals as i dont want to ruin them anymore :(

I just got my pair of Yellow 1.08s, if anyone wants pics let me know here and I will put them up. First impression is that they are very light but also tight... Hopefully by walking abit in them they will be better.....

hey, i have a question about the sizing of the k-leather 1.06s... how small do they run + how much do they stretch ? i wear an 8 in pred absolutes... is that a good size to stay with?

The leather is REALLY soft on the k-leather V1.06s and it does stretch and mould to your feet so you should be good with an 8. But you might want to go half a size up just to be on the safe side!

I thought the synthetics had great touch. I love how thin they are.

I have been using a pair of v-kat's for a while and love them, but would like a pair of pumas with K leather.
My v-kat's are size 10us and fit me perfectly. I was looking at getting either a pair of v-konstrukts or a pair of v-1.06's w/k leather.
Does the k leather on either stretch enough that I would need to get a half size smaller? And do the v-1.06's fit any differently than the kats do?
