well first of the picture is tiny, but from what i could see, it looks like it has a lace cover like the f50.6 which is not something id want, as much as i like those particular boots. second is they look like pure plastic..like shiny hard plastic..to me they just don't look good. maybe as more pictures come it will be clearer what they really look like, but for no no thank you. and not everybody prefered the 06s, there are a lot of people that like 08s.
And the .08 isn't plastic?
It had a hard hunk of plastic in the front.... Not to mention its 6 pieces of fabric sewn together.
This looks much more stable and will have a better touch.
Plus, that lace cover looks very easy to cut off

Hey, I'm new to Bigsoccer and i was just wondering what the sizing for the synthetic v1.06's is like compared to the k leather v1's. I had the K leather in a size 11 and they fit perfectly but ripped everywhere by the end of my season and im thinking in investing in one or more pairs of synthetics on sale in my local soccer shop. I hope you can help. Thanks

Well they fit the same, but the synthetic won't stretch nearly as much. It might lossen a little bit, but what you try on is what you get. If your 11's fit you good, then go for 11's again.

It really depends on how the K's fit when you first got them. If they were a little too tight, go with an 11.5. But if they fit perfectly without having to stretch out the K-Leather, then go for an 11.
Like emu said, synthetic will loosen up slightly, but won't stretch nearly as much as the K's.

actually one more question, you guys said that if i ordered a 11 in the puma v1.06 K leathers and they fit well i should order an 11 in the synthetics too, but what about the V1.06 trainers, the ones with the duoCELL in the heel?

V1.08 sizing nearly the same as F50.8s and Legends? and whats the puma US-UK conversion? whole size (UK7.5=US8.5)?
