There's the v4.08 which is a women's version with a rounded toe, but I've never seen the 2.08.

The biggest complaint about the 1.08s is Puma put a hunk of hard plastic there for durability, but it gets in the way alot and is uncomfortable. The 2.08 will lose that and the upper will connect directly to the studs

those 2.08's are gorgeous i do hope they come out i would strongly consider a pair as the thing that put me off of those 1.08 was that stupid toe part :s

I was thinking of getting V1.08s K as my next pair, so will the K leather version come out on V2 as well? Because that would be SO much better.

I saw the new Puma V1.08 Bull colourway in a local store lastnight, and it looks absolutely AWESOME!!

The colourway would go with just about any kit.
The primary colour shades are superb, while the silver compliments them awesomely.

Is that 'plastic toe' realy uncomfortable and in the way?? I just wanted to buy the new Puma v1.08 speed's in Silver or White K-leather, but if you say that the toe plastic thing is really bad I don't know if I will buy them???
Should I buy them....

I have the V1 trainers and the problem with the toecap is that it gets on the way of your kick sometimes, and when you make a sudden stop your toes can bump into it, which is painful.

Jeff, I have a pair of .08's and, while I understand everyone's hesitation about the cap, I have had absolutely no problems with the cap. I can juggle, strike a ball, toe stall, chip, etc... In fact, last saturday the toe cap saved me from breaking a couple toes. I recommend trying them out before buying them though.

I wasn't hesitant when I bought them because the store I got them at let me do most of the things that I mentioned above, which eased my worries.

It doesn't get in the way of shooting or chips. It does get in the way of dribbling though, imo. It cups the ball way to weird and feels very unnatural. It depends on juggling. I like to juggle on myt toes (like very small toe touches) and it gives extremely unnatural back spin. And it feels very weird for those toe balls when you have to reach for it. It gives a lot of unnatural outside spin. ANd like stated above, it you stop, your toes go slamming into the toe box, because the shoe doesn't grip your feet so you slide around in them.

I guess you can say the shoe feels very unnatural. Its very unceven surface, but they're decent if you want a very light shoe.

The shoe would be perfect in K leather and a rounded toe box without the plastic (i.e. the 1.06k).

They have a new version coming out soon called the v2.08, and it doesn't have the plastic in the front.

Are those V1.08 ??? Because from this view it's just like Bentleys shoes have now 'plastic toe' ..... Or is it a bad picture ??? :confused:
Or is it maybe the v3.08 in leather that has no plastic toe... Hmmm... :S

Maybe you got a 1/2 or full size too big. I have to agree with Joey, my v1.08s give me no problems at all. The toe cap is completely unnoticeable. Overall, I'd have to say the v1.08s are an awesome boot

Would the v3.08 be beter?? becaus its leather and it hasn't the plastic toe.
They are almost the same as the v2.08(=who will come out, but just in leather)

If I went any smaller my toes would be crunching against against the plastic.

The heel is a good fit, but they made the forefoot very wide.

I like my vapors much more

v2s will not be leather. there are going to synthetic in the first couple of colorways
