Quite a few of the soles on my V1.06s have cracked but nothing to that extent. PDS should give you a new pair or some credit. They are usually pretty good with returns.

So I own a pair of V1.06's, in a UK7, but I don't wear them because one of the heels dig into my heel, and give me a large blister whenever I wore them.

Now I thought it may have just been that the boot didn't suit my foot. However, some tearing did start to show up on the sides of the boot. The boot was pretty snug to tight.

All this makes me think - "The boot is just too small"
And Apple's advice of buying the boots a size up, otherwise they'll tear, falls in line with this.

So today I found a few pairs of V1.06's at a factory store, for 30gbp. Not a great price, but not at all bad. I decided to try on a UK8, and they fit fine...I think!

They fit along all the curves of my foot, and the heel is snug on my heel, but not tight. My toes are at the front of the boot, but there is a little bit of space between my big toe and 2nd toe. The boot doesn't feel particularly tight on my foot...almost loose, but my foot doesn't actually move around in it.

As Apple said, the boot does not stretch at all, and the boot is bordering on feeling loose on me. Is that normal and correct?

Thanks:)

I thought the V1 guy with tongue was Ljungberg, can't find any good close-ups though.

Was gonna say they tend to release a new V1 boot every 2 years. So you are looking at around 2010!

i swear that neon konstrukt has been posted a bazillion times. and a 2.08 makes absolutely no sense and im calling BS on it almost a year before the next model is released. I didn't think it was that hard to figuire out, 1.06, was in the year 2006 and 1.08 in 2008 but multiple people couldn't figure that out. if there truly is a 2.08, then they better get releasing on it now because 08 is almost over.

The V1.08 do not have the material that will stretch... I have a 10.5 and have to wear 2 pair of socks.
Let me know what you decide to do with your v1.08's.
