the lacing system and the fit of the konstructs are very similar to that of the nike azt 90 II's... i had them but i thought they were a bit heavy...that and the nike lazer k's...

Just got the red/white V1.08s and I am in love with this boot. I have pretty wide feet, but after about 30 minutes in them and then 10 min of playing, they just became amazingly comfortable. I wear a size 9 in almost everything, and this was the perfect size for me. I have always been a fan of leather boots, but these are just awesome. (I cant wait for the K leathers). If you want to see my LONG post/review go to the official review database thread :)

I just ordered the yellow V1.08 unseen! at size 11, and I normally wear a size 10.5(Nike Legends/Adidas Predator) so hopefully I made the right choice. Please tell me if i did good/bad.... Last Puma shoe I had was in 96

Brave move there, hopefully if they don't end up being the right size you can exchange them for the right ones.
I'm yet to try on .08's myself but I had to go a half size up to my usual size to fit .06's. Not sure if that would help because as far as I know the two boots are made from different lasts.
Keep us updated though :).

I was looking at the v1.08 and they seem to have a bit of a wider toe box. Anyone got any info on that?

I ordered a pair of v1.06 trainers (the 1.08's seemed like poo). I got them in the same size as my v3.06 IT L's.... so i'm kind of worried because the v3's stretched, and i know these won't stretch, so i'm hoping it's a perfect fit :\.... I tried on a half size smaller than what i ordered and i could fit my foot in 'em, but it was tight....
how do the trainers hold up durability-wise? i know apps rants and raves about how amazing they are. (onion bag has 'em for $50 US, that's £25).

I just recently got the camo red ones they have on that site, and I have to say they are holding up pretty well. It does look like the red will fade from the ball strikes, but thats to be expected. As for rippin of any sort, there isn't any at all from what I have seen so far.
Not to metion they are real grippy on indoor hard surfaces.

Makes me happy reading about this since I have wide feet myself...

I've been rolling with the 1.06's for a while now, but I've never really appreciated the way the laces are just hanging out there, does anyone have any suggestions on how to relace, or tuck them in somehow? thanks!

If you think they're a problem just hanging there because they're too long (which they really are) some people I know and also some people on these forums have just cut them then singed the ends with a lighter to prevent fraying.

Thats what i have done with all of my V1.06s, just tie the lace to the desired length, snip the ends off, untie the lace and hold a lighter over the ends.
This will cause the end of the lace to melt and fuse together, so your laces don't fray. It works perfectly. Just make sure you don't set fire to the lace!!

did you get them in the same size as your v3.06 L's? I'm nervous that they won't fit because my v3's have stretched a bit.

There was one posted somewhere a little while ago, I forget which thread exactly though.
The ones pictured on the link look similar to the King XL's from what I remember, though the XL's I've seen in these threads were HG's.

Yea I did, but oddly enough I think my trainers feel better than my v3.06 leathers. I guess the trainers have more padding but thats to be expected out of a training shoe versus a soccer boot.
Also I actually have the opposite problem of you, my 3.06s haven't stretched enough yet, well then again I don't wear them that often.

Just got the V3.08 TT for the field turf at the stadium we are playing in. Will update you all as soon as possible, might get one in Sunday, just don't know if they will come to terms on my contract.
1 bottle of water after the game, just one....is that so hard to provide?

I have the indoors... they stretched pretty quickly. I got the v1.06's for this other league that plays on field turf... they're snug, but i also tried them on with regular tube socks, and my uniform socks are much thinner... so i should be fine. if i'd gone a half size up i prolly woulda had to double up on socks. I'm pretty happy with them right out the box, the arch isn't very high though.... i had the same issue with my v3's.

Well if you have problems with the insoles, I can also recommend a pair of insoles also. I have been using the Superfeet black for flat feet insoles and wow I cannot say one bad thing about them. They literally turned my MVIIIs and my Lasers into the some of the most comfortable shoes ever.
