I just caught some highlights of last nights game between the Bulls and TFC. The more that I watch TFC, the more impressed I am with their support. They bring the works to the field and its admirable. They sing, chant, put up annoying rude signs and throw streamers. And this year they are actually doing well.

Applause to TFC, keep it up!

They also possess this inherent "I'm better that you no matter how well my team is playing" soccer attitude. You just have to applaud that shit. Real men, supporting their real team. lol Not like some MLS fans that want to be liked by everyone and be everyones friend. FCUK that! That's weak and inherently dishonest.

I see it totally opposite, I see groups of supporters who want to have the same hate as Euro & SA teams. Sorry 13 years of football doesn't build a Celtic Rangers, Boca River. That takes decades .And it also takes differences in politics , religion, ethnic conflict . Then you also have these kids who watch WAY TOO much Green Street, Football Factory etc.. Put it this way, if you were that hard, you'd be in a gang or crew. Not making your way to a huge Suburban American football stadium , pretending to be the next Zulu's or Ultras.

Well I respect all supporters - try to be civil with everyone! I dont see that as being dishonest - see that as being someone who graduated high school years ago and not looking for riots but just a good rivalry! Im not saying we need to break bread together but there is no need for the "meet me in the parking lot" talk!

I don't think that TFC even has a rival yet but what I am trying to highlight is their support. They are enthusiastic and loud. They have a very respectable level of atmosphere in their stadium and that is something that we can't deny.

i applaud the TFC fans too...
let's hope this keeps up and inspires
the rest of the MLS supporters clubs and encourages
more away support.

No, Nick I'm not talking about meeting anyone in the parking lot. That's straight up for the criminally minded. God knows we have enough of that nonsense all over. I'm getting at their level of support and their rudeness. Not rude like I'm going to kick your ass but rudeness as in posting a sign to Reyna that he's washed up.

I like TFC's level of support because they take this seriously. Their are a group that wants to have fun at the game chanting and singing. I'm sure that their are a few idiots that get out of hand but OVERALL they have a party atmosphere going on up there at is VERY ADMIRABLE.

I'm not saying that being Civil is being dishonest, I'm saying that sometimes trying to be fair is dishonest with yourself. Sometimes as a supporter you need to be selfish. You need to just think about what's best for your team.

Isn't it better to be crying tears of joy than tears of sadness because you lost?

I agree that their support is great . But people who follow this league need to calm down with the crap they talk . Its not Celtic -Rangers feck it won't be Dundee Dundee United. Stop trying to force things, they come over time. Thats my main beef with most of these supporters groups.

For this very reason I think that TFC has raised the level of supporter groups league wide. I respect and admire them for this, doesn't mean that I'm a TFC fan but I certainly like what they have brought to the table.

Yeah I can see what you mean that some of these things are contrived and forced but it has to start somewhere. Rangers - Celtic had to start out small somewhere.

I guess they channel the USA - CANADA hate gods for their games. lol lol :D

I like to imagine the Borough Boys at a TFC/RB match singing "Blame Canada" at one moment during the game, then at the next moment leading TFC in the chant "Qust que vous chantez" or some other TFC song.

I know it sounds a little skitzophrenic (or how ever you spell it):p

But it could be sort of our way of saying, "we're not exactly rooting for you, but we're not going to root for RB either." ;) We're just out here, having fun with some good banter.

You are absolutely right. That youtube clip of them throwing the seat cushions is awesome.

In allusion to the great tifo coming from Toronto maybe we should hurl Viagra vials out on the pitch during the RB v Dallas game. I'm sure that EDNJ could use a little boost, no?
