VIDEO: CROATIA - MOLDOVA 1:0 (http://vinovo.magnify.net/watch/playlist/Q6RZD98MYDQ93TVV)

Friendly match in Rijeka, Croatia won 1:0, they have much more chances, but only Niko Kovac scored once in first half

Games of interest involving some Euro 08 teams went on today:

Croatia 1 - 0 Moldova
Switzerland 2 - 0 Slovakia
Hungary 3 - 2 Greece
Holland 3 - 0 Ukraine

Wins for Croatia, Switzerland and Holland.
Loss for Greece.

same goes for Holland of course... I guess it depends on too many factors to really say anything meaningful about the outcome of a tournament (Greece 2004, anyone predicted that?). Especially when your in a group with France, Italy and Romania..

But if Germany plays the way they played in '06 they do have a good chance of being a finalist. I do hope the referees have learned from the diving of the Italians (against Australia at the WC, what a disgrace) and Portuguese... I hate that !

spain has never beaten italy in a competative match
That's nice. They are more than capable this year.
A Germany - Italy final would be mouthwatering.
I disagree. I want to see at least one team in the final who isn't one of the "big boys."

^ Spain and Germany would make a nice attack minded and open final. Plus it would include one team who "isn't one of the big boys".

Those are the two sides I predict will end up in the final.

Who will be the suprise team this time?
What unlikely team would go far? .
The Greece of the EURO 2008?

No one in Group C- Italy and France are going through for sure.
Group D - Favorite Spain and Sweden. If Russia go through instead of Sweden. That can be a surprise no one predicts.

Wth...I just saw in TV that the city where Portugal is going to play made restrictions to fans such as not screaming in public and any other kind of loud festivities. They will reserve an apropriated place where the fans might celebrate as they wish. Football fans are guinea pigs now?!

I was already sure that this euro wouldn't have the same atmosphere as in 2004 as the swiss are ok and the austrians don't give a damn...and if these restrictions are held at any other city on both countries, it's going to be total crap.

The mayor of Vienna informed the official Dutch supporters association that Dutch fans are not welcome in his city!!!!! WTF?!

That's so stupid that it's hilarious.

When I went to vienna last year I recall that there was a city by-law where no noise at all could be made past a certain time, so this is probably in light of that by-law.

Why they would single out the dutch supporters, however, is beyond me. And if they wanted to host a major football tournament a.k.a. gigantic party 2008 they should expect the noise and supporters that go with it I would think, or else it kind of defeats the purpose of a major tournament.

It's in Dutch. The Dutch supporters association always organises a central spot where all the fans gather before a game, then we all walk together to the stadium in an orange march. We're not allowed to do that in Vienna for some weird reason.

I'm pretty confident that the Netherlands are providing this year's most offensive team.

So, let's hear it for us Dutchies!
