This is my favorite part of the article:
"But Cooper and Wolves boss Dave Jones both agreed after the match that the tackle did not warrant Parker's dismissal and are prepared to help Curbishley in his appeal against the decision, which he felt cast a shadow over Saturday's emphatic victory."

When the person tackeled and the opposing coach are on your side, you know there was a bad call made.

Plus Parker is a huge part of the team. Charlton is much different without him.

Curbs stated that he has officially asked the official to review the tape from saturdays' game. He thinks the tackle could ahve warranted a second yellow, but not a red. This would lead to a one game suspension, and not a three game one. I imagine the situiation will be cleared up within the next few days.

Parker did play well today, and made a similar play to the one he was red-carded. This time without a card being issued.

Charlton's next three games are Man U, Aston Villa, and Liverpool. Without Parker three points is all that is resonably possible. With him, 4 possibly 6.

The appeal has been accepted and the suspension was overturned. That means that Parker can play in the big games of the next few weeks. He would have missed Man U at home and Aston Villa at Villa Park. Both are huge games. THis is great news.
