UPDATE: Gattuso's agent reports that despite the ongoing rumours of a possible move to an English or German club, Gattuso's intentions are to remain with AC Milan.
ANALYSIS: Gattuso's stay in Milan is basically contingent on Milan's efforts to land Brazilian midfielder Ronaldinho. If Milan were to successfully sign Ronaldinho, they would boast a central midfield with of Ronaldinho and Kaka, and Gattuso would likely be sent to the bench. The loss of his starting role would force Gattuso to look for a starting job elsewhere.
