The Maryland United FC site has them playing at the maryland soccerplex this coming season yet I don't see anything about them at mdsoccerplex.org
Can anyone confirm that thats where they'll be playing?

Well, it's a new amateur team, they play in the NPSL www.nationalpremiersoccerleague.com which is supposed to be equivalent to the PDL. They are college kids and theres a link on their site for tickets but It doesn't appear to be operational yet. I plan on checking them out.

maryland united is a divson 3 pro team. i know this becuae i tryed out for them. they consist of umbc star brian moffa who went 3rd pick 1st round in the misl...alot of good talent..there season is over because the team was playing as ac united in the maryland majors league. they wanted to be able to stay in that league as well..coach jason rims messed up, maryland united was a tuff team

Sorry, but Maryland United is not Div 3 Pro. Its amateur, and if we really used divisions in the US, they would be Division 4, along with the rest of the NPSL teams and the PDL of United Soccer Leagues.

Is Maryland United Season over? I thought they were in first place. Now that the MISL has folded where will that kid Moffa play. I watched him play in College and he was a good one. Will Maryland United get a chance to play Crystal Palace? Is this a pro league?

Maryland United is now Charm City FC (new owners have come in and taken over the club and changed the name). They are 4-1-0 right now and they host Queen City FC this weekend.

Interesting about the name change. If you got to the NPLS website and click on their team name (Charm City FC) the old page covering Maryland United still appears.
Another interesting nugget: according to the August 29th, edition of the Potomac Soccer Wire Maryland United FC is for sale: http://www.potomacsoccerwire.com/wire/2008_08_29 (Bottom of the page.)
