No offense but Schuster I could never see getting convinced into coming to Hannover.
Slomka, as an ex-assistant manager of Hannover, would be a much more likely bet.

Armin Veh is another candidate. Some options for 96.
Slomka is pretty much Hecking's best friend, I kinda doubt he would do it and I think he once said in an interview that he wouldn't coach his hometown club because of what it would do to his children.
Hecking's kids get teased at school.

Totally agree with that. I think he's in love with Spain and will definitely be a front-runner for any job that comes open there.

He won't coach Hannover because of this and won't coach another Ruhr club because of his time at Schalke.
I wonder how he will disqualify himself from other jobs. LOL!! :D

That's just f#cking sad.

Now THAT would be a realistic and good option for Hannover.
Fromlowitz has been suspended two games.

2 games is a joke.
As Footy said, the penalty was ok. Harsh, but understandable. The red card is not justified in my eyes. Don't know what the DFB saw in that, the ball was long gone.

Especially, since he and '96 Sportdirektor Christian Hochstätter are former BMG team mates, both from Augsburg and good friends.
But I don't think it would be fair to sack Hecking (you never know with that weird H96 boss, though).

If he was Kahn or Lehmann, he'd surely not have been suspended ...

I dunno about Hecking, he's not a bad manager BUT...
He's now been with Hannover for two and a half years, has gotten the buys he wanted, but has Hannover progressed?? Not really, they're still a lower midfield side. So they haven't gotten much better under him and he's had long enough there now.
So if he was to be fired i'd understand it imo.
What a terrible season.
8 points to the 10th berth. Lol.
The winter break is here and the season is already over.
I hope they sell Huszti for about 2.000.000.

I'd gladly have him at Everton to be honest. Not that we will have the money.
Can we loan him w/ option to buy? :D

A team would have to want him pretty badly to pay that amount now.......

GORDON STRACHAN has already identified the man he wants to replace Aiden McGeady - Hungarian international Szabolcs Huszti.
Record Sport can reveal Strachan has placed the Hannover 96 winger at the top of his January wanted list and has asked chief executive Peter Lawwell to thrash out a deal for the 25-year-old as a matter of priority.
That means Celtic could snap Huszti up for a bargain basement fee right now or strike a deal to sign him for nothing in the summer.
And apparently 96 is interested in signing MSK Zilina's right-back Peter Pekarik.

Interesting. It's not like our main problem is the midfield and the centre-backs...

i don't think we're after Huszti. Strachan usually keeps deals very quiet. they don't get leaked in advance like the Hustzi story. apparently the player we're after is Stilic of Lech Poznan.

hilarious...
remind me again who Andreas Hinkel chose to move to when he left Sevilla...?

ok...
fyi, Hinkel is playing extremely well now he's gotten over the rustiness he was bound to have from such a long period of inactivity at Sevilla.
