Ouch he got friggin knocked the f out!
If it was me it would hit me in the jewels lucky Stevie doesn't have my luck I guess ;)
Well, that was a very unlucky loss imo. They would have earned a draw at least but that how it goes sometimes.
Some really bad decisions by the ref, two very unlucky goals for Cologne and 96 hit the post two times.
Losses like that happen, it just sucks that the confidence after the Hamburg game is gone already.
Next game is Bochum, I fully expect a 1:1. Stajner will be suspended for about 3 or 4 games I think so that hurts us as well.
This season is cursed, you just feel it, I just hope that we won't do a Nürnberg in the end.

Talk about taking one for the team.......
I'll be in the stadium tomorrow.
That means that Dabrowski will probably score a hattrick. :D
Krebs will start. Not a fan of him so I'm a bit pessimistic.
Imo Azaouah alone makes their midfield better than ours. ;)

That's why it pays off to read the individual team threads before making predicitons. :D

It was a beautiful evening. :D
Seriously, Eggimann is soo terrible. This is going to be a long season.
Can't wait for the winter break.
Still love them of course.

I guess Maik Franz was carrying Eggimann at KSC. I'm now very happy you guys outbid us for him.
This is going to be a long season.
I still think you guys will be OK in the end.

I always dread the winter break. 5 weeks with no Bundesliga! :(
Still love them of course.
Wouldn't expect anything less from you! :)

You shuld. You guys got Subotic, we got slow Eggimann. Damn.
I still think you guys will be OK in the end.
I guess if 15th is considered OK...
So was today rock-bottom?
I hope but we could still lose to Bielefeld and Karlsruhe and with the way the team looks right now I really not see us winning those games.
A lot of people want Hecking gone now of course, it's understandable after 13 points in 14 games but I don't think he's the only problem and I don't see any other option out there right now.
It sucks. Finally we have peace and quiet in the front office and the team plays like shit but that's 96. *sigh*
Rosenthal just pulled a Petric (he saved a penalty after Fromlowitz was sent off). :D
It was a clear dive though imo. Still, he will be suspended next game against Bielefeld which mean Morten Jensen will have to play and he's bad.
Other than that it was an expected loss. Can't wait for the winter-break and hope things look better after that, especially health-wise, I don't expect our center-backs to get fast though...

I can't wait to see highlights of Rosenthal's penalty ;)

Me neither. ;) I've just read about this.
Pity that he didn't get rewarded by a late equalizer for H96.
It was a clear dive though imo.
That sucks. PK AND red card for the goalie sounds like a joke then...
But well, we know how bad our blind refs are...

I saw it. At first, I thought it was just a weak shot. But it turns out that while it wasn't the best shot, Rosenthal made a superb reflex save.

I don't think it was "clear" to the referee. I needed the replay to see that Dzeko took another step past Fromlowitz before he flopped.
I thought Fromlowitz barely clipped the back of Dzeko's foot, but yes, you could see on the replay that Dzeko took at least another step before he decided to flop.
Unfortunately, the ref doesn't have replay and even though the call was questionable at best, I feel the referee wasn't "wrong" to give the penalty as Fromlowitz did make contact with Dzeko's back foot.
However, where I think the referee was dead wrong was in giving the red card. Way harsh.
Other than that it was an expected loss. Can't wait for the winter-break and hope things look better after that, especially health-wise, I don't expect our center-backs to get fast though...
Question. Are you guys going to try to sell Huszti in January? Might he walk for nothing after the season? Or maybe there's a chance he'll extend there??

It would have been cool for Stajner to get his "hat trick". :D

I thought the red card was harsh, but as I said, I thought Fromlowitz clipped Dzeko's back foot, but Dzeko took another step before going down.
I think the referee gave the penalty because of the contact, but again, I think that red card was too harsh.

So, who stays, Balitsch or Hecking?? ;)

I really don't know what the future will bring.
Hecking needs a good start after the winter break or it's over for him imo.

Possibly Bernd Schuster?
