What tough luck for Robert! :(
Get well soon.

I feel very sorry for Enke as well. This injury might also prove to be really bad for his career in the national team. :(

Canada's number 1 keeper, Lars Hirschfeld, ex of Rosenborg in Denmark. Beat Chelsea in Champion's leage last year. Now 3rd string at Cluj in Romania, can't even get on the bench. You should look into a loan deal for him. He was very good against Mexico last week.

Without any disrespect I highly doubt that Cluj's third keeper is the sort of level that H96 are looking for ;)
Although I must add Fromlowitz seemed pretty insecure in the first game. Hopefully, with time, he'll be able to grow into the side and get more comfrotable. Who knows?

He graduated at the Gerry Ehrmann school of goalkeepers, so there's reason for hope.

Exactly, it was just a bad first match. Give him time to settle in.

Ha, ha. No disrespect but that keeper you had out there on the weekend was pure crap.
Hirschfeld may be no. 3 in the Cluj pecking order but last year at this time was starting for FK Rosenborg in the Champions League and his win over Chelsea led to the firing of Mourinho. He would surely be an upgrade over that loser you put out last weekend. And he is German-Canadian (father was a baker in Germany who moved to Edmonton).

First of all, I am not a Hannover fan.
Second of all, the keeper did play crap this weekend, and I even wrote that myself. But, just as the others said, he's a young guy with potential and this was his first game. He'll probably get better, and even with such a first performance, he deserves time.
Third of all, Rosenborg didn't beat Chelsea, they drew them. Mourinho left shortly after that.
Ha, ha. No disrespect but that keeper you had out there on the weekend was pure crap.
This "pure crap" goalkeeper saved us a point yesterday.
Fromlowitz is a good keeper, he proved that when he played for Kaiserslautern and the German U21 team.
His kicker ratings for his 12 Bundesliga games in 05/06 (when he was 19) were pretty good:
http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/spielersteckbrief/object/30861/saison/2005-06
He must have been extremely nervous against Hoffenheim but was much improved yesterday.
I prefer Enke's style more, he's much calmer and way less dramatic then Fromlowitz (man does he ever love to fly through the air) but he has talent, no doubt.
Don't forget, Fromlowitz is younger than both Adler and Neuer.
I'm no psychologist but he tore his cruciate ligament in 2007 against Hoffenheim, maybe that increased his nervousness against that team apart from the fact that it was his first Bundesliga game for 96 and he had to replace a German NT keeper.
Enough about Fromlowitz, let's talk about the game.
I'm relieved the team didn't concede 5 goals against Bremen this time and I'm grateful that they didn't lose with me being there. I have yet to see them win this season though but I'm still happy about this game.
All in all, 9 points from 9 games is rather bad even though we at least played Leverkusen, Hoffenheim, Stuttgart, Bayern and Bremen already.

One of the best saves I've ever seen from a goalie!
The Mertesackers were there of course as well:

Good on his brother to proudly wear the 96 sweater (well, he used to be a member of the Ultras Hannover so I expect loyalty). :D

so...where does per get his height from??

The milkman? ;)
No seriously, I think he'S standing a step or two higher than his family.
Kind is still being serious about suing against the 50+ rule. He's going to wait what the DFL general meeting will decide next month and then he'll go ahead with it.
Seriously, I'm sick of them.
9 points in 10 games and only about 90 minutes of nice football in those 10 games?
I'd rather have them get relegated then to watch another 3 years of finishing 14th, they bore me to death and I'm a huge fan, I can't even imagine how casual fans might feel.
If they get relegated we might at least be able to celebrate a promotion one day.
They are utterly boring and there are no exciting players coming up in the system. At least invest money in some nice youth work like Stuttgart or Gladbach.

Best of luck the rest of this 1st round, from the sounds of the things though you probably will need it.

I have to admit, I'm surprised.
But hang in there! I think they'll turn it around.

Yeeeeeeha! :-)
The teams we played were fairly strong so far, the 2nd half of the Hinrunde should bring a few more points. Don't think we'll make it to a UEFA-CUP spot in the end though.
That was rather unexpected. First time this season they actually fought like hell, it was beautiful.
Stevie saves a goal and gets almost knocked out:

Bastian Schulz, a true Hannoveraner, scores the 1:0. Great to see how happy he was.
