Today I did what I do about two times a year, I watched a 96 training.

Even though it's only 15 minutes per bike I don't go there very often because imo it's pretty boring most of the time.

Since I was kinda bored today I decided to look at 96's homepage if there was a public training this afternoon and I was lucky.
Enke is still somewhere in Portugal and Forssell busy with the Finnish army. Would have loved to see him but I guess I have to catch another training.
Huszti was nowhere to be seen as well.
Leon Balogun was running laps the whole time, don't know why but he's a major cutie, all the young girls were googling him and he talked to everyone on the way
to the running area, seems like a very nice young man.

So here are a few of my pics.

Schlaudraff striking a pose. He looked pretty good today. Really looking forward to seeing him play for 96.

Eggimann is watching me.

Arnold is watching me. I love Arnold. He's almost smiling as often as Stevie and his accent is too cute. If only he was faster...

Oh, yea I found this thread in the regular German board. Hence Squig's remark on the last page.

Ok, that's bizarre. I merged another thread from the general thread to this one. BUT WHY would it then move the whole thread to the general Germany board??? It would have changed the name of the thread that was merged with this one. Ok, BS is freaking weird.

Stalking Ze Zizzo.

Hecking or Napoleon?

Just a typical Stevie & Lala pic. Here they are reacting to a "Yankee go home!" chant from a fan.

I think I'm going to print this pic and let Schlaudraff autograph it, lol.

Well, I think it was a joke because it was an American shouting it, at least he spoke German with a strong American accent.

Stevie. He's such a sunshine. He was also the only player to joke with construction workers on his way back.
Great great human being. The day he leaves 96 will be a very very bad day.

Rosenthal on the other hand is the total opposite. He always looks like this.

Ze Zizzo was ze last to leave.

Well that's good. I would have to come and get him. :p

I also hope Stevie stays w/ Hannover for a few more years.

As always F96...thanks for the photos

Tarnat is out for a few months if not longer.
This means that C. Schulz will probably have to play LB because I doubt that they will through 18 year old Rausch in there.

Schulz won't be happy and our midfield needs Schulz as a 6, he sucks as a LB imo.

No news on the Huszti front, should he go they really need another midfielder, still don't like the look of it.

Also the thought of Balitsch and Lala starting makes me scream.

Imo we only upgrated out attack, the rest is still very average and won't get us any nearer to the 5th place.

Woohoo, now that was a beautiful start to the new season. :)

Not that surprised though.
We didn't upgrade our main weakness - the midfield and the defense doesn't really look much improved either.

I really want to see Forssell start alongside Hanke up front and put Schlaudraff in the midfield.

I do love Lala, but he shouldn't start for any Bundesliga side anymore. Balitsch is not a creative wizard as well but you need someone who can tackle if you have a player like Huszti who pretty much loses every duel.

Bruggink has vision but he's soo slow.

I think Hecking should put Schulz back in midfield, Rausch to LB, Lala and Bruggink on the bench.

Back to reality I guess. A win against Cottbus would be important. Good plan of mine to just go to the Halle game and skip Schalke. Oh well, we'll see. The season just started, we still have all the time, you can lose in Schalke, just the way we did does scare me.

I would dismiss it and move on. Schalke were at home on opening day with some players on the pitch eager to use their chance to impress the new coach.

I think you guys will be fine.

What a nightmare. sucks that footy appears to have been wrong. The next games will be tough.
Oh and Zizzo appears to be not fit and a bit injured, at least that's what is speculated on the official 96 board (German)
