Obviously we won't get Streit since he's going to Hamburg.
Maybe we should try C. Schulz as a left wing since we have enough defensive midfielders anyway.

Pinto's great goal:

You got 2.5 mio euros according to transfermarkt for Huszti. Not bad at all, although if you sold him in the summer you could have gotten double that.

If he left in the summer Hannover would've gotten NOTHING for him...

Great job imo, 2.5 million for a player with six months on his contract, that's well done :) - but I guess the Russians are able to pay for it...

I thought the financial crisis was hitting Russia rather hard?

2.5 Million is great, but I fear we may miss his presence on the pitch if we don't gte a replacement.

Don't be sad, we got Krzynowek!!

We surely must be the slowest Bundesliga team now but honestly who cares anymore about this season.

At least you got a replacement for Huszti on set pieces, plus some height for him to aim at (Andreasen). :)

They've sold Arshavin today for 20 mio.

Huszti replacing Arshavin actually could work out well for Zenit. I've never been terribly impressed with Arshavin.

I must admit, I've only seen Arshanvin play about 10 times but I was impressed every time.
He IS special imo but it remains to be seen if he can do it consistently in the best league.

Huszti is a fine player but he's a lightweight and loses far too many balls.

You grow with new tasks. That said, good luck to Huszti.

Yeah I guess this season is over as far as we are concerned. Doesn't look like we will go down, but it doesn't look like we'll get under the top ten. Maybe next season.

I rate Arshavin too. :) Everytime i've seen him he's impressed.

Apparently Huszti is not replacing him, but instead replacing someone called Zyryanov, whom I know nothing about.

Konstantin Zyryanov, was also member of Russia's Euro 2008 squad. Other than that dont know much about him. He's still playing for Zenit after a look at the wiki.

I don't know who TOLH was watching if he wasn't impressed with Arshavin.

However, while he is a great player, I think Arshavin has also become of a bit of a head case.

He really seems to think he's the best player in the world, when in reality, he's not much more than a more durable, better-scoring version of Tomas Rosicky.

He's definitely among my top ten players in Europe, but near the bottom of the list.

I think Huszti will replace him well.

That is, as long as he doesn't remain a head case himself.......

Where did Arshavin himself end up going?

That game was horrible but sadly totally expected.

They are so predictable. I guess their next win will come against Bayern.

Please, can they buy out Eggiman, he's beyond brutal but since we don't have any alternative he will have to start every game.

Him and C. Schulz haven been the worst buys over the last few years. Andreasen was so over-motivated, I knew he would eventually get the red card, wonderful debut.

This team is bad, other than Enke and Rausch they can all go imo.

They can't
* win battles
* pass the ball
* play fast
* keep the ball
* cross

Unbelievable. This team is mentally weak and that scares me the most in the relegation struggle.

Hecking said after the game that he had seen them play worse then today.
What kind of stupid statement is that???

I really want to see him gone but knowing Kind he'll probably replace him with Mattäus. :eek:

Great, now Zizzo is injured as well.
He probably would have started saturday. I feel the boy is cursed.

Injured:
* Schlaudraff
* Rosenthal (WHEN is he NOT injured, they need to sell him asap)
* Stajner
* Vinicius
* Yankov
* Krebs
* Cherundolo
* Rausch

Absolutely ridiculous.

Some of them might even play against Stuttgart and at least Hecking will have an excuse.
Hattrick for Gomez?

I hate years like this. You expect some injuries, but this is getting ridiculous.

I feel your pain. There were a couple of points last season when we had most of our roster out either sick or injured.

It was the one thing I couldn't blame on Doll! LOL!! :D

Wow, who would have thought that htis game would end 3:3?

Of course I expected Stuttgart to score 3 goals but didn't think 96 had it in them to score three.
Shame for the fans in the stadium that Hitz scored 5 minutes before the end but this was important nevertheless.

Huge probs to Hecking for taking out Eggimann early in the game.

Worst buy in years. Here are all his kicker grades since he played for 96:

Wow.

Hobo inspired me to post some graphs of 96's last 7 years since the promotion.
