In terms of accomplishments this season, yes, but in terms of better player/talent your assessment is way off

We have a great world cup to look forward to.
I wonder whether it will be the beginning of a Messi-Aguero era?
If I were to bet, I'd go for the Kaka-Pato era. I think Pato will set the world on fire.
On a lesser level, it may be the time for Fabregas and Torres, or Ribery and Benzema.
C.Ronaldo won't get his era. He's a great player but lacks a character that is the mark of a true champ. He's got amazing skills but I'd take a 28 year old Giggs over C.Ronaldo any day of the week.

Top 5
1) Kaka
2) Messi
3) C.Ronaldo
4) Ibra
5) Rio Ferdinand
Yea, Ronaldo has been amazing this season, and people will say he is the best beyond doubt, but he hasnt done anything in a big game, and i know people will say it doesn't matter, but it does matter, the best players will dominate the best teams. Kaka has done it, Messi has done it, both Ibra and Ronaldo have not and that is why they cannot be called the best. When Ronaldo dominates a big game (hopefully the CPL final) then he will claim the top spot, but right not i can't look past Kaka'.
People will say Kaka hasnt don't much for his team this season, but he played half of the season with an incompetent striker, and a goalkeeper who can't stop the ball. He has also suffered from nagging injuries this season. Now he has strikers who can score and is tearing apart the league.
Obv i'm bias though, look at my name...

He's going to be in a big game in a few weeks.
If you like Kaka so much, why aren't you an AC Milan fan? Aren't you supposed to worship Ronaldo? :D

I like a few players on AC Milan, and in Serie A i am generally happy when they win, but i certainly don't support them.
If i were to pick any other team to win the champions league other than United it would be them, but i wouldn't actively celebrate.
Worship Ronaldo? He's a monster of a player i just think Kaka and Messi are better, not by any considerable margin.

Better is a very subjective term. Kaka is the fastest of the three and probably has the best shot. Messi is probably the best dribbler and the best ball control skills. But looking at the overall picture it's hard to argue against Ronaldo this season. He's clearly had the most impact. Kaka has been too passive at times, and Messi has been slowed down by injuries.

You really want to talk about rewards?
Kaka has a Ballon D'or and a WPOTY, Ronaldo has neither, and there is a decent chance he won't get either knowing how the judges work.
Football is not a sport determined by stats and individual trophies.

Cristiano is only the best player in europe this season because he makes the made the most impact..and prolly for his goals from "playing on wings" or w/e shiit his fans say.
Though by impact him and totti are up there....Kaka looked tired..I expected him to fall off a little after a long season..(CL,and CWC)..plus double marked and what not..
Last season though Kaka got got his team through the CL, was brilliant against Man Utd(which won him the awards..) and he scored in the CWC final. Not to mention second best in Serie A.
Not going to get started on Messidona...

There is only so much a 20 year old, 5.6 foot, injury-ridden Argentinian can do for an unmotivated team in absolute crisis and disarray.

there's a difference between being injured and having a bad season, because when he is on the pitch and healthy he is clearly one of the best in the world if not the best. And as for your question what has messi done, go back and watch his performances before he got injured.

Why not? All players have their strengths and weaknesses. Not even Cristiano Ronaldo could get Barca out of their current rut. No single player on the planet can.
