this guy is always as bas as owen wilson in i-spy. the only movie that i liked was dare devil. in phone booth, the recruit, and swat, he's just so lame. even decaprio did much better than him in gangs of new york and catch me if you can

He was awesome in Minority Report. Didn't see Tigerland or Hart's War. But I like him and I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of him in the next few years. Someone I know made out with him at a club in Barcelona. Thought that was kinda weird.

Farrell deserves an academy award nomination for Phonebooth, he's an incredible actor and a funny guy.

DiCaprio was horrible in Gangs of New York, and all the Irish accents in that movie were so badly done it was unreal

I'm with Hama. The guy's a stiff in films and a drooling halfwit in real life.

He's not popular, he's marketable.

People (sadly) want a face they recognise (I work in a video store). He isn't terrific, but he's like the new Tom Cruise, playing in very marketable movies (Minority Report, PhoneBooth, SWAT, The Recruit, Daredevil, etc.).

Vin Diesel would have been bigger right now, but he followed up xXx with Knockaround Guys and A Man Apart.

Btw, this one's mine: "Vin Diesel: The White man's Black man."

I hate Vin Diesel... the only movie he's good in is Boiler Room (good movie, Alfonso Ribisi is a fantastic actor)

Tigerland was a good movie, but his acting was okay. His acting adds a Sundance feel.....

tigerland is a tour de force acting performance - the first time i saw it i had no idea who he was and thought to myself 'that guy is gonna be a star' - if you havent seen it, please do - side note: i havent seen phone booth, swat or daredevil

Alfonso Ribiero = Tap Dance Kid/Carlton from Fresh Prince/Ricky Schroeders 'token' on Silver Spoons

Giovanni Ribisi = Fantastic Actor

Vin Diesel is fine.....he will never be mistaken for Kevin Spacey or anything...but, he is a solid action film star.....

Colin Farrell is a good looking flavor of the month that is getting pimped around alot right now....I haven't seen too many of his movies so, I can't really comment on his acting chops. I have heard that he is pretty limited in range....we will see what comes of him soon enough.....people are only allowed so many bombs.

Thank you ... I always new I was getting Giovanni Ribisi's name slightly wrong somewhere.

As for Farrell, have his movies bombed? I honestly don't know... I was udner the impression that Phonebooth, The Recruit and to a lesser extent Minority Report & SWAT did well in the box office. He is also in a small movie called "Intermission" that just came out in Ireland... probably won't make it to the US, but might go to Britain, great movie anyway... also has Cillian (pronounced "Kill-Ian") Murphy from 28 Days Later, he's a good young actor, too (28 years old I think)
