View Full Version : Promote Montreal and Vancouver expansion

I was in the MLS Expansion - Candidate Cities thread and I noticed there was nothing about Montreal or Vancouver. I think it would be a good opportunity to get something in there to not only show our support for further Canadian expansion, but to give a chance to show the MLS and those other cities that these two great North American cities really should be next up.
I would start something myself, but truly don't think I am knowledgeable enough to get something legitimate started.

You can't be looking too hard. Almost every thread is about Montreal or Vancouver (even if they don't have a dedicated sub forum in candidate cities).

Sorry. To clarify, I did mean that I thought it would be beneficial to have the dedicated sub forums for each city.
No doubt the passion is there, and that many people are commenting on it and believing Montreal and Vancouver are the way to go.

I think having a forum for each possible team is a bit to much.

If you look in the Forum Requests board, you'll see there already is just such a request, typed up by someone here at BigSoccer.
I wonder who...
Anyway, bottom line is that the sub-forums will have to wait for enough interest to be generated by the newer threads discussing both Vancouver and Montréal for sub-boards to be allocated.
So, if you want to help out, please post in the Montréal and Vancouver threads at the Expansion boards!

Montreal could use a subthread. Until Vancouver gets a stadium plan approved, no use polluting the MLS threads with a Vancouver subforum.
