Draft? Not that there turned out to be any players of real value... but let's set this up if we're doing it since many of us, I assume anyway, are holding off on trades until tranfers are distributed. Also, is there any other way to handle this than a live draft? I fear that, falling in the middle of the term as it does, that I won't be available for an all-nighter. Perhaps we could begin by checking in to confirm interest in the draft... slim pickings might reduce the number of drafters a great deal, particularly since we've already established the draft order. Can't be many more than 10 new adds or so. Just looked back thru the thread, where I was sure we'd agreed on a draft order. If anyone else can find it, maybe we should reprint it here so people can see where they'd be drafting and decide whether it's worth waiting for scraps.

The Chickenhawks, like their bumbling real-life counterparts, have been in horrible form lately, so I wouldn't worry too much Jon. And W. Connection keeps coming strong on the challenge up the table. The lead has shrunk to 35 pts.

I need Izzet back. Oh, and a single reliable striker would be nice at some point this season.

I have been waiting for Lundekvam to get healthy for awhile now... he has been injured forever. His return date just keeps getting pushed back. Thank goodness for Saha, Nolan and Davies, they are keeping me afloat, I expected Henry to be Henry but Africans nations cup took Okocha from me so I have lost the use of both a midfielder and a defender which really hurts me since I dont have a deep roster...

Hope I can draw to within 10 or so this week of our leader...

Shearer is not for sale at any price, or not one you'd be willing to pay. As one of the top pointgetters in the league you'd need to offer the same quality in exchange, perhaps Vassell and Malbranque or Pires. Barren spell aside (and we all know it'll end with a bang), Shearer remains the core of my team. Mutu, on the other hand, is another very talented and explosive player who will surely start pouring in goals sooner than later. Why not make the same offer for him...
