It's started. I won't be surprised at all to see more heads roll in the coming weeks and months.

Thank god for that!

I assume the appointment of a 'director of sport' is because firing Le Guen at this point would be counterproductive? I imagine Paulo will be given the boot at the end of the season as well.

I think it depends on whether we stay up or go down. If we stay up then I think PLG gets to keep on building. If we go down then I expect PLG as well as the big name and big wage players to be shown the door. I wonder at what point Colony Capital will sell or realize that their "investment" is losing value quickly.

If PSG go down, Hoarau won't come to PSG. Camara said he'll stay no matter what. It's fair to say that Armand, Souza, Rothen, Everton, Ceara, Luyindula, Digard, Diane, Yepes, Pauleta...will leave PSG by the end of the season if PSG can't remain in L1.

I was really pleased with Cayzac resignment. He gave a press conference to explain why he is leaving. Cayzac refused to work with Moulin. He wanted Houllier to become general manager or Pauleta to become coach...He is so populist. He knows the fans like Pedro therefore he is using him to prove that he had ideas to save PSG. Last but not least, he was in touch with...Mourinho . Kudos to Cayzac for lying still. Mourinho to PSG, that's his best joke with his great plan for PSG to be champion within 4 years.

Let's be serious, Cayzac wanted to resign several times in the past but Bazin refused. In my opinion, he was unable to build a team for PSG to come back in L1.

I'm surprised. I expected a new coach to shock the players. They don't seems concerned with Cayzac's resignment. I don't think it'd change anything though. This team is too weak and some players already gave up. Our defense was our only strenght during most of the season and now we own plenty goals.

Moulin is one of Luis' friends. Does it mean that Luis will come back at PSG ? Personnaly, I'm not against this idea. He can give some fighting spirit to our fatalistic players.

Anyway, now CC won't be protected from supporters anger as long as there isn't a PSG fan as president. It's time to invest money. In football there is no secret. Money rules players' mind. If they came not to invest money they better go back to USA and sell the club to some oligarchs. I'm tired of their austerity worthless plan.

Well, if I were a PSG fan, I'd be a bit happy. Even if it's only for the reason that Cayzac won't be buying anybody anymore. I don't pay attention enough to the club to know how he was like outside of the boardroom, but in my opinion, if there's one thing the Cayzac couldn't do, it was being able to buy good players. Or rather, being able to buy good players who aren't on the decline or too fragile.

Yesterday, Alain Cayzac was Luis' guest on "Luis attaque". He kept answering Luis, fans and journalist's questions during almost an hour. It was instructive. Undoubtly his best speech since he is president. He assumed some of his faults and apologized to the fans. From what I remember, he said :

Why he resigned ?

The fans who have been to le Camp des Loges, considered that Cayzac is a coward to leave PSG in such trouble right before the end of the season. He denied being a coward and explained his leaving by the option chosen by Bazin to appoint someone else without letting Cayzac knowing about it. He refused to be a puppet. He doesn't know Moulin, yet he deserves respect for being successful. He has no personnal issues with him and Bazin and Cayzac are still friends.

Mourinho ?

At first Cayzac wanted Houllier to come back at PSG to help Le Guen in his mission to save PSG, but he is already technical therefore he refused. The idea of Pauleta to pick the starting eleven with the help of a manager to held the trainings came to his mind. He thought about it because it already happened in rugby. Last, but not least, he was in touch with Mourinho's entourage. It seems that Mourinho is looking for a challenge so he'd have been interestered in coaching PSG...

Underachievement

He also tried to explain why PSG underachieved for (at least) 2 years. Right after the victory in the FA Cup, he thought that we had a competitive squad and that the firm(s) owning the club only had to inject a few money for this club to be on its way to improve. However, they had to sell some players because their salaries were too high. He considers that their plan failed. A plan based on ex-players, owners and on young players (Clément, Digard, Bourillon...).

Regarding how PSG ended the season 2006/2007 (6 victories, 9 games) and the Emirates Cup he thought PSG would do well in 2007/2008. He shouldn't consider it relevant especially the game against Valencia. He admitted it.

Right before Cayzac to become president, Blayau (ex-president) told him : "if you don't have 50 million euros you are dead". Once again, Cayzac admitted that Blayau was right.

According to Cayzac, they'd have to inject much more money for PSG to success. He really said much more. Colony Capital is destroying this club by not investing in it. It might be too late.

Souza & Everton

He was a little bit confused about Everton. He just see him as a gamble.

To him, Souza is a good player and everybody working at PSG wanted him. He needs time...(PSG have no time).

He blamed Gouffran for not keeping his words. It's not only a matter a football but also matter of man. Call it old school but to him a man keeps his promise. Which I understand.

PSG refused Makelele : it's confirmed!

From the early beginning of the current season there was a rumor about L.G refusing Makelele. Cayzac confirmed but it's a little bit more complex. Two actionnaires were leading this club (CC, Butler). One of them wanted Makelele and the other one didn't because they wanted high salaries to leave. Cayzac asked Le Guen's opinion about it. I quote : "il n'était pas très chaud". I can't believe he wasn't excited in this opportunity.

Thinking about it, Cayzac regrets this. He should've signed him.

Hechter

PSG's former president, Daniel Hechter put the club into another mediatic fuss. He told that some players asked for pocket-money (primes) to save the club. Cayzac was really angry. The players also denied it.

This message took me forever. I hope it'll help.
