Harnik has five strikers in front of him, so I´d say kind of far away from being in the starting elevenm. I suppose he is better as a striker.

There´s also a new rumour about Marcelo Moreno Martens of Cruziero Belo Horizonte, 20, striker, 5 € million

That's new to me that they said they want 10 Mio. I thought Werder hasn't made an offer yet and Cruzeiro so far prefers the 7.something Mio offer by Donetsk. Also a so far unknown english team is in the race for him as well.

The problem is, that hardly nobody will give
a (good) transfer fee for him. He got fired in Sao Paulo
and trains seperated from the rest of the team.
Allofs and Born already travelled to Brazil to speak
with FC Sao Paulo officials to find a solution.

Furthermore they use the journey to scout some players there.

We seem to be in the pole position in the race for Cruzeiros Marcelo Moreno.

19 year-old attacker Herman Córdoba of Deportivo Cali is also rumoured to join Werder. Could be the Löning-replacement in the U23.

Carlos Alberto will most likely play for Botafogo until the end of the year he's making only 260000€ there. He should be pretty motivated to perform well.

Albanian media are reportin on Elis Bakaj Midfielder from FK Partizani in Albania is soon going to have a trial coming up soon at Werder Bremen. He is a very very good player. Can play any position on the midfield, mainly as an organizer and offensive midfielder. If he makes it to Werder Bremen he is going to be a special player. 20 YO has been part of the FK Partizani senior team at the age of 15 YO getting a starting spot at the age of 16 and scoring his first profesional goal at age 17. He curently plays for the Albanian Senior NT. He is the best player right now in Albania and it is a joy to watch him drible the ball. He has had offers from various leagues and nations mainly ukraine and Russia and has refused to go to a trial to any team except Werder. He feels that he has done enough that he doesnt need to prove himself to anyother team. So hopeflly he impresses and joins the squad.
