Tom Jones played soccer, too.
When I told somebody that the other day, they said "It's not unusual."

No seriously, we had a guy in the 50's named Eddie Murphy. He was a foward.

James Brown "the Pappa had a brand new band" guy?"
I thought he was a boxer before he became a singer and a convict.

Tom Jones he is an American? I thought he was from Wales. This is an American soccer thread no?

Sure the "Funky cold Modena" guy.
He was also in a good movie called "Heat" with Pacino and DeNiro. De Niro did scores, but again who doesn't?

That is some story. Played on the same team as his son. The Pope played soccer. So did Jacques Tati.

The Pope plays for the metrostars.
I heard Musilini was a good player. He used to clear out balls 40 yards using his chin :-)

Here he is at Azteca in Mexico city, acknowledging fans after his testimonial shortly before he traded jerseys with Hugo Sanchez.

there doesn't seem to be any photographic evidence of this, but this French philosopher was no stranger to goalkeeping:

Yes. Camus. That's right. I had forgotten for that moment. He could have played more too. Mussolini's team didn't please many people in the stands but they always ended the game exactly at 90:00.

first part of your eloquent and deep thought out responce would earn you a right good kicking 'thou spotted faced loon', the second part makes you think you've met her, and if you have you will know why she wears em, and if you ever came first you would know that testicles can indeed fit up a mans nose without being totally severed
anyways, best thing about being english is not being a yank, scum sucking brain dead race of narrow minded toss pots
just think, only 30% of your leaders in congress hold a passport, no wonder you are an inward looking pile of excrement
have fun paying your $4 billion a month for your war in iraq, might leave less money to spend on being the most obese and shallow race in the world
millwall - we are the kings, we are the best, we are we are we are . .

Yeah, you'll find a lot of kings 9th place in D1. As if.
If you want to talk about soccer, fine. If you want to call Americans fat to make yourself feel better about being English, there are others forums for your lot to take the piss in.
PS> My favorite depeche mode lyric: "Princess Di is wearing a new dress". Indeed.
