Originally written in MS Word, now the document works with Open Office as the default reader.

Anyway, here are the dates from the Properties menu:

Created 1/23/2004
Modified 5/23/2001
Accessed Today

A date on the actual document is 9/13/2000.

Doesn't something have to be created before it can be modified? Do any of you techies have any insight as to how those dates could be like that? (I swear i'm not making any of this up.)

I'm guessing that someone has an uncalibrated clock on their computer ;). Ie the document just copies whatever your system clock says. So you can create a document today, save it, change your clock to yesterday, modify it and voilà.

Now that I think about it, I did actually have to change the battery in my computer because the clock was all screwed up.

It may also have been copied between floppy disks and various hard drives.
