I'm not trying to wind up Rangers supporters here, but seriously, this can't be a good thing for their club.

Right, right, trying to start a civil converstaion on a topic that will have a major impact on the championship this season. Whatever was I thinking?

Arteta is better than ferguson IMO, if fergie goes and Arteta can then get to play the position he was promised and decides to stay the huns midfield actually improves as far as I can see.

Possibly, but Rangers have a relatively small squad so selling Ferguson would have implications for squad depth, even if you think the first team quality would be unaffected. Plus there is a danger of a panic signing to appease the fans.

Even if the 12 million they are reportedly wanting for captain ned materialises I cant see a panic buy being part of the equation, not with an operating debt of over £100 million, they are one step away from the administrators when you get to sums like that.

Ferguson or Arteta? ;)
He did score that flukey goal but he has been played out of position for most of his ibrox career because ferguson didnt move on when he was expected to last season, arteta was brought to play that role.

Done Deal - Barry of the Rovers.
Gers have replaced him with Emerson - a Boro flop who Wolves were after!
I bet Man U are really worried now :D
On Sky Sports News it shows Emerson scoring against Barca (I think) & he's wearing gloves in Spain. God only knows what he'll be wearing in Scotland!
And their after John Carew now! He couldn't ever score against Scotland!
