I thought we had a lot of strikers before they signed Di Canio and, then yesterday , they add another with Carlton Cole.
Today, Charlton has sent Svensson on a one-month loan to Derby County. That should help thin out the roster some. Matt should get plenty of starting time there. I hope the best for him there. I've always liked him.

I have enjoyed his play also. This should allow him some game time. I wonder if Lisbie is the next to go? This should help out Derby County also.

Svensson opened his account with Derby today with a goal. I knew he could help them out (although my second love is Forest and we just hate Derby).

Lets hope he can keep it up. As long as he plays well, when he returns from his loan, he sould push for playing time. As Curbishly said, those who are getting goals will play.
That is unless Derby secures him on loan for an extended period of time, which is possible.

"Svensson played his fourth match for Derby County and the Rams recorded their first victory of that spell with a 1-0 win away at Walsall."
Nice to see that he is playing.
