I honestly think you should have made an exception and allowed Simunic to play in Croatian jersey for Hertha!:D

Andre Lima is about to leave Hertha according to kicker, Porto Alegre want to loan him out with a Kaufoption of 2.5 mio euros...
And we paid 3.5 another Hoeness masterpiece :mad: (as Favre was still not around IIRC when Hertha bought him)

And actually, I don't know what you're ":mad:" about.
Getting 2.5M back on a 3.5M flop one season later is pretty good freakin' business.
Plus, the way I read the story, the 2.5M would not be a "Kaufoption", but a purchase price. There would be no loan in that case.
The article says Brazilian reports say Internacional would also propose a loan deal and that Hertha can also live with that.
Looks like they just want to get Lima off the payroll. If I were them, I'd take the best sell option, whatever that might actually be.
If it is the 2.5M, that's not a bad deal at all. Not at all.

1st day of practice for the new season and we have a new center defender: Rodnei!

Don't know anything about him other than he's on a one year contract with an option for 2 years. He also has spent time in the Polish league with Jagiellonia Bialystok. He was training with us back in January and convinced. 1,90, hopefully he can turn out to be the new Jolly Sverisson ;) maybe I'm stretching it.
Srdjan Lakic looks like he will move even though he participated in training today. There have been many offers for the Croat, according to Hoeness.
Mineiro's future is still unresolved. He's still yet to agree on a new contract.
