Those are the numbers mentioned in the press. If they are accurate, well, noone but the players and officials knows. Personally I have my doubts about the alleged 4 million demand of Pantelic, but that's another story.
Unfortunately I'm pretty sure he will be sold. Favre appearantly is a very stubborn person and a one trick pony. Either he has it his way, and that means unloading Pantelic and building his squad from ground up, or he'll question and possibly abort the whole project.
This obviously is a huge risk for the management. Not only because of Pantelic's important goals, but also the publicity. He is one of the more entertaining players in Bundesliga and selling him will dampen the interest in Hertha especially outside of Berlin. Marcelinho's sale did the same ( although there were good reasons to sell him ).
While this whole longterm teambuilding thing is good and necessary I'm currently kinda on the fence if the risk isn't too high. Maybe some compromises on Favre's part would be the better strategy.
Well, next season will tell.

Class goal from Pisczcek today, about the only thing really good. Guess we really needed Pante and Raffa back together, because they assisted on the 2:2 really well.
I really hope they have a year together because I think they could be a deadly duo in the Bundesliga...it was also nice to see Pantelic give a good effort and visually, at least, acknowledging the fans when he came on. I think Pante will give it his all, at least for the rest of the season.

Filip Djordjevic is another player that Hertha are interested in, he plays currently at FC Nantes in Ligue 2, but he is on loan from some Serbian side.
Ivan Klasnic has also been mentioned as well.
But really the absolutely best decision Hertha can do is to negotiate with Pantelic, get him down from his 4 million euro a year contract to maybe 3.5, which is the same amount of money Simunic and Friedrich make...
Filip Djordjevic is on a loan from Red Star. We will do our best to get him back, but its difficult.Had not he hit the post against Glasgow Rangers, he would have stayed. I think we should have been more patient with him. He is far better than all our strikers. He scored a lot of headers when he was on a loan at Rad. He also reminds me of Inzaghi because he is always at the right place at the right time to score a goal. As for technique, its good , but nothing exceptional.

Side note: I was playing yesterday with an old Marcelino shirt and a guy asked me if he was Marcelino (forgot last name) who played at Flamengo. Does anyone know?
Probably Marcelinho Carioca, who played for Flamengo, Vasco e Corinthians (team who sold their soul to the devil and Russian Mafia $)

Kacar has scored a goal!!! He played great even before a goal, and now its even better. He will be playing better and better from match to match. Real jewel. He can play like Makelele but also like Inzaghi and Vidic. I foresee him signing for a great club in a very short time.

I have also heard that Hertha is very interested in Predrag Pavlovic, who plays for our U21 team. That would be a great buy. He has scored some awesome goals this season. especially long-range goals.

Always thought we should get riid of Simunic when he still had value. Does he still have value? Pante just being in the lineup makes us a better team, even if he is off his game

Yes!
And now Maximilian Nicu from Wehen comes for 350,000 euro. I think he'd be a good signing really!

I have a premonition that Gojko will score a goal against Bayern.

Hertha have gained a Uefa Cup spot courtesy of the Fairplay draw going to Germany, who selected Hertha ahead of Frankfurt for the European spot.
Did Hertha deserve this? With their season no, they did not, but congratulations nonetheless!

Lol...
Who knows maybe getting the Fairplay nod will get us some wins...but knowing Hertha in Europe, probably not. Oh well. I could be back in Berlin by then and I'd love to go on an European tour.

lol, I will never understand their criteria and I hope they get rid of that rediculous fairplay-spot soon...
Congrats nonetheless! Have fun in Moldavia and the Faröes! (Damn I would have loved that :D)
