It appears the animosity between the PDL and the NPSL is subsiding just a little bit. This weekend the Sacramento Knights will travel to the Fresno Fuego, 5:00 pm at Canchuski Park.
SJ Frogs recently played Sonoma County and the Frogs host Santa Cruz Breakers April 26th at 8:00 pm.

Maybe the dream of a 'California Cup' involving all NPSL and PDL sides, plus Galaxy, Chivas and Earthquakes reserves isn't dead yet!

Also, the Chicago Fire now have teams in both the PDL and the NPSL, having taken over the Rockford franchise in the NPSL.

it would be fantastic if we were friends. I'd be super happy. THen we could work with the Rhino's and do things together regionally.

For what it's worth, i believe all the "unpleasantness" was between former USL owner/president/founder Francisco Marcos and the MPSL/NPSL. The current USL owner Umbro SHOULDN'T have any issues with the NPSL or WPSL. However, i have no idea if the old rule about USL clubs not playing friendlies with NPSL or WPSL clubs is still on the books.
