And being from the Philadelphia area, that t-shirt holds a special meaning.
It's patterned after the "Tastykake" advertisements.
You are from the Philadelphia area? So am I! We recently moved to South Carolina though. I miss that area.

Gladly. Go to www.tsv1860.de (http://www.tsv1860.de) and click on the "TV (http://www.tv.tsv1860.de/de/misc/index.php)" link on the main page. You will need to register but they accept US credit cards. I think the spring season package was $18 or so. The games are streamed one hour after the game ends. They are packaged into 15 minute chunks and are available anytime and for was long as your subscription lasts. I have seen all the games this spring and can honestly say the quality is great. DEFINATELY worth the $$.
It is like 40 Euro for the whole year... Hmmm... If only DSF would stream online... Or do they?

The more I read about this Christian Worns issue, the more I do not like it for 1860. That is not really the direction this side should be going in. Younger prospects with pace and skill would be the wiser option. Although a veteran (and I mean VETERAN defender would not be a terrible thing). But Sechzig could stand to get younger. One good push, and I could certainly see Sechzig in 1.BL.
But, we shall see.

That is pretty hot looking.
What part of SC are you in? I'm going to be in Greenville on the 25th.

Actually, Sechzig is TOO YOUNG right now as it is. They need another veteran or two. They have no veteran depth. Especially in defense.

Tonight you'll have huge ad hoc fan bases in the Rhineland area. Quite a few Cologne and Mainz supporters will have their fingers crossed for you... :D
Seriously, good luck against Freiburg!

Are you kidding me? I live, work, and drink in Greenville.
Send me a PM with where you are staying and we can get together for a beer or something. I know the best spots in town, hands down!
Zum wohl!

How many Met-Yankees or A's-Giants fans do you know? Few people actually follow both. Families split down the middle, usually with those over 40 being Sechzig followers and those under 40 being Bayern fans.
I think it's a lot more like White Sox - Cubs. Without the winning, :p
The Cubs are the celebrated team, frequented by tourists, drunken frat boys/girls and the more affluent fans, (AKA bandwagoners).
White Sox fans have always been working class, are passionate, know the game and pull for their team good and bad.
Maybe that's part of the reason I was drawn to 1860. That and Peter Nowak. :)

Thanks! Oh, if only I could get some of their good stuff (Edelstoff) here in the states. Their export beer just doesn't cut it IMO.

You think YOU have it bad? Try living in South Carolina, my friend! After having lived in Pennsylvania and had many solid, home-grown lagers from breweries there, coming here was a major dissapointment in that regard.
Sakes...

Not that I know of. You can always try using an anonymouse proxy server and finding a stream but in the long run $40 bills for this service is a small price t pay and certainly worth giving to the club.

Anything we can do for the Geiss Bocks we are happy to do. I have a soft place in myt heart for them. Was on a trial with them in '82.
