If you guys deal him to 1860 without a fee, you'll probably get a deal faster than you think.

However, I think Lauth himself might protest a move because he'll have to take a serious pay cut.

I find it seriously funny that Rangnick isn't interested.....

1860 made a signing today - 26 year old French central defender Mathieu Béda, from Kaiserslautern on a free.

Anyone have additional info on this guy?

I'm glad they shored up the defense first. Now let's get a midfielder or two, a forward and a new option at keeper.

Beda is a decent 2nd League player. He was FCK's captain the past two seasons.

Probably spells the end of Gregg's time as a starter at 1860.

Let's not get crazy. You'll get a forward. That will be a given. May even be that useless f#ck Lauth.

EDIT: Well, there you go! See F96's article posted as I was typing this! Nothing done yet, but I guess 1860 are just trying to wait out 96.


But 1860 doesn't have enough to just get "a new option at keeper."

It will be either Hofmann or Tschauner. Kurz has said they will battle it out.......

According to the article, 1860 confirmed that Lauth signed a 3-year contract at a press conference earlier today.

I hope a return home will help him find his old goal-scoring touch he only ever seemed to have in the 1860 uniform.

Also, looks like I got my backup keeper. 1860 signed 20 year old Markus Krauss from SSV Reutlingen. He played 19 games last season in the Regionalliga. I'd assume he's going to be in the mix along with Rössl for 1860 II.

Even as much as Lauth sucks at the top level (hence H96 being desperate to get rid of him), even he should score goals in the 2. Liga. And yes, I agree that he will be a better option than both diSalvo and Ku-SUCK-ovic.

I think 1860 will get more out of those guys coming off the bench.

In the 2. Liga, that's how he should look. Especially if injuries can be avoided for most of the year and Göktan can play behind the strikers all season.

According to this article (http://www.merkur-online.de/sport/1860/art8815,935208), Schroth will accompany the team to training camp on July 14th, but it doesn't say anything about his being able to participate or not. I think if he could not, they would say so.

The nostalgia will be great. Don't forget Bierofka, Hofmann and Hoffmann were on those teams too.

I saw that - the ones on Bild are supposedly the new training kits. Those two photos are one of them and the other training kit is reversed - in black with hellblau trim.

The kits I posted above are supposedly a "leak" I nabbed from a German 1860 board.

Take them with a grain of salt, but if they're really the kits, they are amazing. :D

This is one of the few days I've actually bought the "Bild" and it does indeed say they are the training kits.
