Can someone tell me how is he doing in Werder Bremen? Can he be Diego's replacement?

Why would he need to replace Diego? I think they can both be pretty effective when they're on the field together.

Best player on the pitch against his old club Schalke this weekend. Some great dribblings and passes, and a nice assist. Hope he continues like this, he has bags of talent, only sky is the limit.

I agree. I think we could be very dangerous with both of them on.

Hey Guys,
I'm a Dortmund fan but wandered over here to see what you guys are saying. Have to be honest, you probably signed Scheisses best talent here. Ozil is great, and you are lucky to have him. He and Diego if they are both playing in top form probably make up one of the best midfields in the Bundesliga along with Frings. Too bad you lost Borowski, otherwise it would be a dream midfield. :D

Mesut was nominated for the friendly against Norway, as discussed in the Germany national team forum, he is a full German international now.
Had he been called up just 11 days earlier, we would have had to pay Schalke another €500.000, so some in the Werder forum are speculating that the 'delay' to call him up for the national team was 'intended'. :)
Whatever, fact is that Özil was the best signing, and the best business, Allofs made in the last two rather disappointing years.

Haha, great stuff. :D If that is the case, Werder should send Schalke management Özil's game jersey from Wednesday's game as a nice token of gratitude.
