Sean had a great idea the other day, and I think we're going to try to do it for Wednesday.
In tribute to the legend of Jimmy Conrdad, we're going to get everybody we can to wrap their left hand in white gauze roll, ace bandage etc, so it looks like a cast. We're going to go to the medical supply store to get some gauze by the roll, but I don't know how expensive it is.
If you have a white ace bandage or something that would work, feel free to bring it for Wednesday night.
PS - We were thinking about doing it for real with plaster, but then imagined the Cauldron leap going totally wrong.

Awesome. This will be much better than the attempt two years ago where we all pretended our mouth's were wired shut. While it was a great tribute, it was counterproductive as far as chants go. All I remember was looking around mumbling, "MMmmmpppfh mmmrrmmr." (Who's the Einstein who thought of this)

I love it.

Side note for Wednesday. I have the Big Drum and we need someone to play it ... Wednesday and after actually.

Sounds like a fun idea. If only I had something like that I could use for a wrist brace....
I'll have to check my closet-O-injuries at home, see if I can find something among the finger, wrist, knee & ankle braces....

Well gauze by the roll is way too expensive. 3 dollars essentially to do 2 people. We're looking into white fabric this afternoon.

That's what I was thinking. Go to Marshals or Kmart or someplace cheap like that and grab a couple of plain white King flat sheets. Maybe even run over to Target across from the stadium. Then just tear the sheets into multiple 3" strips.

i'm supposed to be doing that to my wrists anyway, so no problem.

i have white vet wrap i use on my horse...
it's like a dollar for a roll that could probably do 3 people, i'm not sure, seeing as how i've never tried to wrap my wrist with it..
i also have some purple and neon orange rolls too..you know, if anyone likes to look really heinous.

you guys think too hard. i do not believe that you don't have things in your house to use for that. medical tape or gauze are the obvious choices, but if all else fails, grab an old sock or some toilet paper. it ain't serious.

I'm hitting a goodwill for some cotton sheets to tear up. If anyone has some old white sheets, if you can bring them, that'd be great. TP might work, but it won't last more than 2 minutes of clapping. I tried paper towels yesterday too.

To the Beatles Revolution.
We’re gonna beat the Rev-o-lu-tion
Well, you know
We just want to score some goals
We’re gonna beat the Rev-o-lu-tion
Well, you know
We just want to win the Cup
repeat ad nauseum.

we're gonna beat the Revolution
Well, you know
We all want to see a win!
we're gonna beat the Revolution
Well, you know
We got to put Chance in.
But when you talk about the MLS cup
Don't you know that you can count us in!
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
yeah it's gonna be, all right!
a Kansas City win, all right!
I'm WIZARDS till i die, all right!

I like the longer version but I think it's a lot to ask of the Cauldron. :)
The fewer lyrics, the better.

last saturday night at about 6:59 PM, my 3 year old daughter Clara fell and broke her left arm. long story short, she's now in a cast and i missed the televised win against Colorado. it would be great to see a Cast Tribute to Conrad in the Cauldron tonight. Clara and I will be watching the Wizards, she with her cast, and me in my toilet paper wrapped arm!

Once again, if anyone has an old white sheet or something close that you don't mind me cutting up, bring it to the tailgate.
