A LOT of practice,if your regular lessons at school arent enough to understand, get a personal teacher.

practice, practice and more practice

Math is easy when you learn the correct procedures to solve problems

I actually love math and consider it perfect, logic is my favourite sub-subject on the math area

what course are u taking, or where are u having troubles in math?

to be honest i dont even know where to start.

i got a d in begining algebra, i know is embarrasing but thats what you get when you spend most of your time in the soccer fields. and you like to party alot.

i do know that i have to go though algebra, algebra 2, geometry, and pre calculus in order to graduate.

ill bring some of the test that i have to pass.

you gotta learn the basics of algebra, cause you are gonna need them for everything else

functions ,equations and factorization....

once i saw a guy that got a 7.5 out of 100, and 5 points were given to everybody since one question was incorrect... so he would have gotten a 2.5, but since he got a 7.5, you are the record holder for me now

Ok so im still planning on going out there to bring the tests i need to pass to show it here.

my big, huge problem has always been word problems!!! i would call myself "dumb" bc im usually good with literature, history, politics, sports, women... i mean i passed everything that has nothing to with numbers, well maybe pshycology was a bit hard but just numbers, I guess is just too much work.

you know i have been reading this beginning algebra book where i got D on it last semester, it was actually the first team i ever spent about 4 hours reading a math book. it felt good, really, little by little everything is starting to make sense, is like a new world to me.

my dad was an accouting proffessor back in the days, isnt that embarrasing? im the son of a college professor and I cant even though simple polynomials...

i swear im going to bring some exercises so we can discuss them.

you dont read a math book to learn math, you gotta practice and do exercises in order to learn the procedures to do things

IŽd say...

10% of reading math theories and 90% of practicing those theories

I am not very good at math (my forte lies in history and languages) but I would say that when I've done the best in math is when I do exercises over and over, and again and again 'till they pretty much become 2nd nature.

thats the same thing my older brother told me since he is an engineer major.

the thing with me is that im no even familiar with the math language, you know math is a different world out there.

the other thing is that when i start practicing the excercises and i dont understand it, i get frustrated. it seens to me that is imposssible to get really good at.

ill bring a couple of excercises, i think it will be fun to talk about specific problems.
