Just looked at the Roma v Scum U match and Vidic for sure has done his knee. I screeched at first, then seconds later I shouted that it looked exactly like Bakary Sagna injury v Chelski last week.
They showed the replay, come to learn these cats both wear V-Konstrukt by Puma. All know where I'm going with this right? Damned studs! Both Vidic and Sagna were using the seven stud version.
Players need to understand that long studs CANNOT be used on firm/hard pitch...PERIOD. Several players in today's game were using FG's (I think Rio used six) I understand the FG version of the boot doesn't grip the ground well as I am a former Puma user before they went all cool before comfort on our asses (I heart Speciali now) but certainly a player at that level can have his boots done up how he wants.
I expect Puma to get some bad pub on this, shame on them too for dropping one of the best boots ever in the KSL to bring in the melted cheese that is the King Exec. Shame on them for years (or until the KSL comes back)
