Has anybody else had trouble with mlsnet.com using firefox on a mac?
It loads part way and then the browser stops responding.
Just curious

mlsnet has crashed Firefox on both Windows and Linux for me.
I chaulk it up poor implementation of Flash stuff on mlsnet, and Firefox not being robust enough to handle a poor implementation of Flash on a website.
Apparently, Firefox 3 will be faster, more stable, and won't leak memory. That's according to reviews of the beta releases.
That's a good thing, because even with occasional issues, like mlsnet freezing/crashing Firefox, Firefox is still way better than IE, at least for me.

yeah, but on a winxp machine, both at home and work. i like how FF has the "restore session" option when you restart it after crashing.

Yes, Firefox on the mac will restore the session as well. However, that is useless when the restored session is trying to load mlsnet.com and then the browser stops responding.
The only solution is to start a new session (or, if you're geeky enough, hand edit the sessionstore.js file in your Firefox profile directory to remove mlsnet).
I hope that Firefox 3 will solve this problem. It's not an option for me on my work computer yet since I am a webtechie and I need to make sure my company's sites work on the current stable version of FFX for mac.
In the meantime, my workaround is to open mlsnet.com in Safari, not Firefox 2.

IE Tab is also a cool feature, although it's an add-on.
There was some discussion about Firefox 4 having a feature where only the faulty tab crashes, and not the whole browser. However, that's not going to happen.
