Lol, the thread in the official Werder forum about Ivan's late night appearance at Beckmann is already 102 pages long (he's suing Werder's team-doctor):


Background:
The question is, if Klasnic kidney injury was detected too late.
Other doctor stated, that Klasnic had already a kidney defect, when he joined
Werder in 2001, but the player wasn´t informed.
So Klasnic sued the Werder team doctor for about 1.5 million €.

The team doctor also gave a public statement, that he made
no mistakes and doesn´t fear a process at court.

Yesterday Klasnic wife critisized the club management,
so the club management had today morning a meeting with Klasnic.
He stated, that he and his wife were wrongly quoted and that he only
offended the Werder club doctor. So the club management decided,
that Klasnic stays at Werder until summer.

Klasnic wife wasn´t wrongly quoted at all, she definitely critisized the club management.
And that after KA extended his contract for two more years, although he wasn´t able to play due to his kidney transplantation!
I understand that he is pissed off, if Mr. Dimanski knew about his kidney defect or should have known about it. But this is not the fault of the clubs management.

I say go ******** off Ivan! There´s nothing such as gratitude in football, unfortunately...

Naturally she did, but such press conference is made to play things down,
so Klasnic must have said, that there were communication problems
and the press interpretated everything in a wrong sense. ;)

Tomorow we sadly miss Diego (got a light training injury),
but Frings is back. So let´s get the 3 points against Cottbus.

Hopefully we´ll see a 2-0, but Cottbus has shown a couple of very good performances the last five matches, so we must be aware!

Hope either Özil or Hunt will replace Diego in midfield, with Frings as a DM and Borowski, Jensen as left and right mids.

Good match by the team.

The goal efficiency is still horrible,
but the players kept cool and scored late.

The missing of Frings in Hamburg is a huge blow,
because he gives the team a good rhythm (we don´t play
so much "kamikaze" and stabilises the defense.
Werder must react in summer and buy another
class defense midfielder.

depends on whether Baumann plays or not. Of the few games he played this season I'd guess in half of them he played as a "number 6"

We're now definitely guaranteed of a Champions League spot but it's better we remain second place for direct qualification for the competition.

Yes, it was really dangerous. But i must point out,
that Tim Wiese didn´t do it with bad attemption.
He went for the ball as well as Olic and wanted
to clear the situation.

According the referee Wiese toutched
the ball lightly before he clashed with Olic,
that´s why he gave him only yellow.

But we don´t need to discuss, that this is clear red,
because if Wiese hits Olic at the neck or in the face
the HSV player would be in real danger.

Well, he's not exactly a star player but he is damn useful. He's a beast when on form.

Anyway, an amazing performance was rewarded with a fantastic result! Aaron Hunt is the 20th goal scorer for the club in the Bundesliga this season. :)
