Where the sodding hell have you lot come from all of a sudden? We've won four and drawn two of our last six but you've managed to overtake us, haha. I'm not particularly surprised, because you're one of a few teams that have deserved to beat us this season. Doncaster will be a tough game on Tuesday, they've improved a lot since the start of the season.

Ended up dropping Doncaster thanks to a stupid error by Louis, leaving Paul Heffernan open to score (Oldplayerscoresagainstyouitis strikes again!), snapping our winning streak at 5.

Today, however, we beat Reading away 2-0 having controlled almost all of it. Although we didn't have that many chances during the game we took them well- Adebola was in the right place at the right here to head the ball into the net, and a mad-arse scramble in the third minute of the second half saw Cole Skuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse get his second goal in three games, and only his third in three years :D

We're in the playoffs as Best Of The Rest, 6 points from 3rd and one more from the automatic promotion places, but who knows? it's another tight season and in the next three games even QPR (11th) could squeeze in there.

We fell away in the end, thanks mainly to late goals let in over a 2 month period:

Birmingham away 1-0 loss 85th minute
Derby away 2-1 loss 85th minute just after WE scored. And they scored in the 1st minute too.
Cardiff home 88th minute Cardiff equaliser 1-1.
QPR away, 2-1 loss 81st minute just a few minutes after WE scored.
Nottingham Forest away 3-2 defeat, 2-1 up but then conced ein 83rd and
90th minute.
Ipswich home, 1-1 draw a 90th minute equaliser and a penalty at that did for us.
Sheff Wed home, 1-1 draw, 88th minute equaliser.

Still we finished 10th so we did okay!

One win in twelve and just four points from the last eight games . Considering how good we were for the five games just before that run I'm amazed we actually did finish in the top ten. And the unbelievable amount of opportunities we DIDN'T make for ourselves tell much more about the games we dropped points in, especially when playing Fat John who won't even stretch his foot out half a yard on a cross.

Things need to change, but only minor changes. Unless we're serious about making the prem, then we need to look into the market.
